Is anyone actually gonna use Tempers / Wax on Master Writs?

(Note: haven't actually seen what the Writ vendor sells so not 100% on this. I'm not doing this as a rage thread or anything, just curios to see if people think they are worth doing or if there is something I don't know about them.)

I'm a bit puzzled by the cost of master Writs compared to the rewards I've heard they drop as I don't think there's any way that I am spending 8 Tempers on an item for something like a Furniture Schematic or Motif fragment. I don't know if this is just me being blind to something or not. But I highly doubt any of the rewards from the Writ Voucher guy is worth spending 8 Tempers on.

What do other people think about this. Are the Master Writs worth doing are do you think the rewards just aren't worth the Gold Mats?

It's a time saving thing. A DPS test dummy costs 250 vouchers. That means you would only need to do 2 leghendary writs (plus a little more) to get it. With purple writs, you need to complete dozens of them.

Yeah I guess it saves time. But is getting a Target Dummy 1 month or so earlier really worth 16 Gold Mats? I mean will getting it a bit later hurt that much.

Nirn/9 trait set/rare motif gold writ can give you about 350 vouchers. Definitely will do if I get it.

Apparently through the housing editor you can just buy a dps test dummy for 1500 crowns instead though (which I plan to do when I get home from work and buy my house!)

Other than the DPS Dummy, I can't see any reason to use up my Gold Tempers for a Writ.

I also don't see a need for a DPS Dummy as I have addons that tell me my DPS in the game, which is more reality given the constraints and conditions of combat.

So, probably not going to ever use Gold Tempers.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

To get what though? A Target Dummy, some pointless Furniture for an even more Pointless House or a Motif?

Doesn't seem worth it to me. It's all well saying '350 Writ Vouchers!' like it's a lot but if you can noly spnd them on useless stuff then what's really the point?

A DPS is huge for us on consoles, I can't wait for it and will try get it as fast as I can.

Sure. Been saving them up for that purpose. No real need for more gold - but gold tempers will be very useful for master writs (thus furnishing recipes).

Many people will want furniture they can't craft and buy them with gold. That will make much more money than any gold temper that would sell right now.

If you're sitting on millions of gold, why not?
