A hamster in the server?! Well, now I totally get why they had to extend the work for 5 more hours. To get all the hay out of the servers after the hamster's gone!SamuelDraconis wrote: »Ultimate plan: 1) Steal the server hamster. 2) Demand ransom. 3) ??? 4) Profit.
You missed the part where you get paid the ransom. They might say, keep it we just got a hamster upgrade. UBERHAMSTER!

This is nothing compared to Funcom on 21th of December 2011. That day Funcom released a new patch, and thought everything worked fine, they sent everyone home for X-mas the same day. It was important to patch the servers that day so they would keep the players busy since Star wars released the day before.
There was just one problem,..-- The game was unplayable, and the devs were home for X-mas, and Star Wars had just launched their MMO...
That is hard to beat... Not to mention the ultimate insult, they got the cleaning lady to try and fix the servers, by resetting them. Didn't work and the game was unplayable for a month... Beat that!
