It's not stupid at all when you consider Bethesda's stance against nudity and sex in general in every TES game to date. They made the decision a long time ago that it isn't what they want in TES. You know how it goes in the US, everyone lords over decapitations, eye gouging and lots of other graphic content, but show some side boob and all hell breaks loose.
I find it funny that Taverns are included, but no Brothels, so in Tamriel, people get drunk and fap later? Awesome. Nords surely wont fap for example. Its just odd they are trying to be WoW with ES. Like ES-series is trying to hide what they are.Edited by Sausage on February 5, 2017 9:54AM1 -

Was on the Gold Coat and someone with a name kinda of like "Magic Mike" was advertising for his brothel guild called something close to "Diamond Daggers." He was looking for guild recruits and or customers for his large house that will no doubt be full of scantily clad digital people doing the Divines know what.
Anyway, this is more evidence of why we need a second part of the Justice system so we can form groups and break up these brothel rings.
ALSO: The scuttlebutt is that the reason they made the character limits for housing the way they are is because of the performance issues for the lowest specced PCs/Consoles so that if all 24 people decided to pair off and have 12 separate duel at the same time, the performance wouldn't suffer.

It's been toned down, but Morrowind got the balance right imo. Daggerfall and Arena had scantily clad women everywhere. Morrowind kept it to seedy bars where it added to the atmosphere in a believable way, and still without nudity.

Just going to point out that the game has a mature rating and while you shouldn't be talking dirty to anyone you don't don't know well; it is parental negligence that allows a minor to play a mature game. I don't look to mmo's for that kind of social gratification myself as the real world presents more interesting opportunities with better known partners. I remember one an odd thing that happened at the beginning of the game, a guy I know who played a female character was cybering with another female character that was a female. She thought she was cybering with another girl and when she found out it was a guy she went ballistic on everyone in the guild. Most of the people didn't know each other in this guild anyway, I didn't know many people but she went on to message me all kinds of angry things even though I didn't know the guy she was cybering with or her and after about 20 minutes of listening to her rant finally put her on ignore.
Obviously if you are a parent and you knowingly let your teenage child role-play sex acts in a brothel you (third person) should be criminally liable for child abuse.
Having said that, an Altmer a Dunmer a Kajit a Bosmer an Orsmer and an Argonian walk into a temple of Mara and get married, what does that make them?

That it's a game for mature players. If you want to assume anyone and everyone could be a 13 year old pretending to be older, then go ahead. That small percentage of the playerbase (and hopefully they're parents too) know what they're getting involved in, so I'll stick to treating it like the mature game it's rated as thanks.1 -
