Homestead Housing Prices

With Homestead release coming up shortly for the pc players, I have a question as a console player. Have there been any indications from ZOS on the crown prices for the Craglorn cave & the island getaway ?? I just want to figure out how many of my crowns to save.

I heard the manors are going to be around 10k crowns so I would assume they cavern and island will cost around the same considering they have the same item capacity as the manors.

has there been any leak and the price diff between furnished vs unfurnished homes - either in gold or crowns? i know we have semi-official" prices in crowns and gold for houses at various sizes but have we any clue on the diff for furnished?

i am eyeing getting one of my houses furnished to then spread stuff around to other homes to get a jump start for each.

In short UNFURNISHED prices:

-apartments start at 1,000 (confirmed) crowns
-Small home range: 3100 -4000 crowns
-Medium range 5000-6500 crowns
-large range 7500-8500 crowns

All the way up to manors for 10k crowns (confirmed)

They will not cost the same since manors can be bought with in-game gold, while the island and cave are crown store exclusive. The manors are also 10k unfurnished.

I expect the crown store exclusive homes to be around 15k unfurnished.

My guess is it will be around 2k.

Is it only me or is the cheap houses overpriced in crowns?
Looked at the medium house close to Rawl'kwa and its 330K gold or 4000 crowns.
The mansion is 3.5M gold or 10K crowns.
As I understand the apartments are 10K gold or 1000 crowns.

Want an Khajiit house and has crowns so thinking of the mansion just for the value of money

If I were planning to buy Black Vine Villa or 10 bank slots for crowns, which I'm not, I would come out way ahead buying the bank slots for crowns and the small house for gold. The slots are 85k and the villa 60k gold, but the crown price for the slots is only 1k.

It seemed to me right off they established different scales for the two payments.

Want to get into housing and play with apartments, rooms, small houses and maybe even mediums - in-game gold is the way to go. makes it easy for most folks to casually get some housing play in without real-world investment - lowe threshold.

Want to get into housing in big way, well beyond what you "need" to try out hosuing? Then the bigger houses and mansions are best bought with crowns as basically luxury items. (Alternatively a 4-man or 12-man squad could go in together to split the gold costs and come out ok creating a set of shared resources.)

i dont see the two as "at odds" with each other or one's crowns as overpriced - but complementing each other in the bigger game sense. Pick which currency suits your goals.

i saved up into the 1.5mil gold range so i had the option to go large if i wanted to - but will likely go the multiple medium and below route using in-game gold.

But we will see.
