ZoS is interested in advertising. My ear to the train tracks netted me those who are teetering on buying are asking, "Is there a trial version?" So should they run a trial version? Opinions?

✭✭✭✭✭The trial weekends are pretty rare. And always seem to happen when either my friends who might like the game are busy or when I'm too busy to be in-game to show them around, or both.
I would like them to have an on-going trial version. Either one where you can play for X hours/days or maybe one where you can play as much as you want up to a certain level. And then after the trial the account would be deleted (maybe with a delay, so if you buy the game within a week or something you get to keep your progress).
Obviously they'd have to put a bunch of restrictions in place to stop it being abused by botters and gold sellers. Just stopping them from trading with other players (including mail and guild banks) would solve a lot of those issues - no point botting if the account is going to be deleted and you can't remove the items. But maybe some chat restrictions too so they can't be used to advertise services provided by other accounts. Jemcrystal✭✭✭✭✭Both. Should give them two weeks and no higher than level 20 I would think. It's crazy fast to level in this game or I would suggest lower. And remember to always keep those beginner zones unbugged. Those are peeps first impression of the game. Don't restrict character creation because that is what most are going to want to try on for size.
And for gawd's sake stop it with the character creation auto log out! My gawd you can't even get up to take a pee.0
