Unable to login in game

Hope you people can help somehow.

My husband have tried to use his old ESO account he got since the Beta in 2014 and bought the game after recovering his password. He have had no issues logging in to the website and downloading the game, however after installing the game and trying to log in using the game client - It keep on telling him that the password is incorrect, even after resetting the password again

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

    When you say he recovered his password, was this from back when all the passwords were reset for the game or for the forums?

    Thanks for the response. No, he has recovered his account yesterday using the support page to reset the password without the security question.

    That allowed him to log in to the website and make the purchase and then download the game.....

    I doubt it's a delay issue because if it was the case, he would've been able to connect today. However that is not the case and the game client still says that he have entered his credentials incorrectly

    This sounds sort of like the issue I'm having where I own the game yet I'm getting the message that it's an incorrect password. Wish I could help, I want to play so badly.

    It is the beginning of the weekend and we have not heard anything from the customer support team back at all

    Are there any moderators here that might be able to help speed this up a bit? It would be really nice to play over the weekend...

    Sounds about right. The ESO support is absolutely horrendous. I typically hear back in a couple of hours for every other MMO I play, this one results in days.

    Sometimes forum mods are able to speed the process up a little bit.

    So just to clarify, because the customer support are proving to be useless at this point.... Literally the worst imaginable and possible experience ever....

    When buying Morrowind Digital edition - It says on the store page that "Tamriel Unlimited" is included... Does that mean that I can buy Morrowind Digital Edition and play straight away? Or will i be able to play ONLY when Morrowind is released and Only then "Tamriel Unlimited" will be added to my account simultaneously?

    I am asking because that's what the customer support guy told me... And it doesn't sound right at all =/

    I mean - What's the point to buy the Morrowind game now if I still can't play up until the expansion release?!

    I'm not entirely sure how it would work if you bought the expansion that includes the game right now. If you need to buy the base game, then I suggest you buy it on it's own, so you will certainly have immediate access. Then you could upgrade to the expansion seperately whenever you want.

    Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if I need to clarify anything :)
