Ferocious Leap Vs Rend

I/m trying to put together a duel axe wielding orc character, but I'm not sure which of the two ultimate to give him. I like that Ferocious Leap is cheaper, so that I could use it more often, and the fact that I could use it to close with a distant enemy quickly. The knock back, stun, and damage shield I'd get are all pretty nice sounding too. Also it would trigger the Elder Dragon passive giving my another 5% towards my heath recovery. The Rend on the other hand is more expensive to use, but it does more damage too, and it would heal me for a good chunk. It would also synergyze with some of the other duel wield passives to boost it up a bit more as well. Because Ferocious Leap does fire damage, would the Combustion and World In Ruin passives from the Ardent Flame tree apply to it, to boost it's damage?
You search and search for something, never realizing it is within and always has been. You can not find it, you can not understand it, you simply accept, and believe, and it will grow. - Heretic's Faith, Randall N. Bills

If you use leap you want Take Flight, Ferocious Leap will be flame damage after Monday.

Most people suggest not using dual axes because it causes issues with the proc, but id definitely go for rend. Way more damage and it never bugs like leap does.

Are you trying for a pvp build? Thats the only way youd want leap.

I would mostly be pve with it except for the odd group dungeon or boss, or whatever quest I had to team up for with someone else to complete.
