bought 90 days eso+ : no crowns

Hi guys,

As I said in the title, I bought eso plus for 90 day on PC, and..... got no crowns.
I'm not even an xbox player, as I saw this *** is known and accepeted by players, just a regular pc guy that wanted to buy stuff from crown store.

It's so unacceptable, I mean this is the first game, in my entire gaming hystory, where I buy in game currency and got nothing in return. First time ever.
Even with the worst pay to win companys line nexon has the decency to give you what you pay for.

So it's the last time I pay for anything related with bethesda or zenimax.

Have a nice day

No it is not accepted, but it is a common problem with steam usually, just be polite and be patient it will not take that long as long as you do this, be positive man, they helped me out and then some, they may have to move it to higher ups therefor there is a process you need to go to the support email and email them.

The problem is this is peoples first impulse and they come in here and complain instead of emailing in the first place, it happens, but it is not a big deal unless you where waiting a long time.

I subscribed through Steam (for the PC), and it took a couple of minutes for the crowns to show up. I panicked for a minute, thinking I hadn't gotten them.

If you haven't already done it, you should re-start the game and see if they're there now. If not, definitely send in a ticket for compensation.

I've heard that sometimes the ESO Plus subscription doesn't start automatically, and you have to enable it somehow. I don't know how, though.

    There is a nice "Paiement Par Carte W76llypl7n5ax7f - Adh N Es 31/01 - 35,97 " in my bank account so you give me that 4500 crowns, as soon as possible. I printed all this conversation, and I got no more patience left;

    Why did you do that?

The problem is not solved, I bought 90 days eso+ not 30 days. Did you forced me to buy an other 30 days membership?

    Hey there,

Thank you for taking the time to contact The Elder Scrolls Online support team. My name is JD. It would be my pleasure to help guide you today, my friend.

I will be happy to help you with this issue. The issue is that since you have a Steam copy of the game you will need to buy your ESO Plus and crowns packs from the Steam store. I have gone ahead and added the crowns to your account for your 30 day ESO Plus that you bought since your 90 day did not go through.

But from now on to stop this issue from occurring please buy all crowns and ESO Plus from the Steam store.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Warm Regards,
    JD,
    The Elder Scrolls Online Team

    Hi Benjamin,

I purchased this 90 days membership through the ESO website while I bought the game, a month ago, through steam.

    Greetings, Tibo

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online support team. My name is Benjamin, and I'm happy to assist you today!

I’d like to start by offering my thanks for your continued patience, and my sincerest apologies for the issue.

Did you purchase the membership through Steam or from our ESO website?

The payment is currently awaiting settlement. Once the payment process completes and if at that time you still have not received your 4500 crowns from Steam, we will gladly manually apply the crowns to your account.

May The Eight Divines Guide You!

    Warm Regards,
    Benjamin

Why do people run this game through steam? It only adds another issue to deal with.
  • Bharge

It might be due to the fact that as new players, we are not aware of the mess it is.
if I had to do it again, I sure would avoid buying this game through steam.
  • Skilledzerob14_ESO
I've had a few issues with it not showing up right away, however I've never had to wait more than an half an hour before it activated! That's certainly a hassle to have to wait so long.

talk to customer service, since a very large release involving the use of crowns has come out, a week at most is reasonable for you to wait for a response. any longer would be unreasonable since we all know why you wanted those crowns. at that point, if the crowns haven't shown up and customer service hasn't gotten back to you then do a chargeback. Since not all of what you purchased was delivered and no one got back to you in a reasonable time frame (after a week, after a big release of new content you likely wanted into). Stick it to the man.

I don't do mmos or games with or that I expect to have large cashs hops through steam for a couple of main reasons. If there are issues, steam will not issue refunds for those type of purchases and chargebacks could cost your entire steam account not just an account for a single game that is likely crap or with a company you don't gaf about anyways. The second being, if there are glitches or troubles with your order you now have TWO companies to go through to get it sorted out and chances are at least for a while they will play hot potato with you hoping you either give up and they get your money for nothing or else it leads back to the first reason I avoid it. Having the list half full of strangers you met on counterstrike or something being able to see in steam that you're playing an mmo or some crummy ftp game isn't worth risking a large transaction or you entire steam account if you aren't the type to sit back and let somebody rip you off. Since once in a while, a chargeback is the only recourse. Like with the warz game for example, only warz and neverwinter have I ever done chargebacks over. And neither was paid for through steam thank god almighty. It was around the launch of neverwinter, and due to their failure to reset the server after an exploit that affected it's economy to this day, and warz was just a plain fraud. I haven't done refunds or chragebacks otherwise, but in op's case I would have if i didn't have the goods withina week and especially if I never heard back about it. The loss of account can be looked at as, if a company will steal from you, it isn't a loss since you should break ties of your own free will anyways. I looked at neverwinter that way.

Maaaannnnnn this happened to me to on pc. Luckily they jumped right on it and got me my crowns. However, I've been cheated out of my crowns for ESO plus on Xbox for a total of 5 months (not consecutive) which makes me wonder why not back to back. No response on Xbox tho.
