I insta die during the Harborage anbur tharn quest, help

Once I get to the top of the castle and manimorco sends his giant skeleton, and i kill it, Anbur tharn and manimorco release a beam on to each other, I dunno how but at this point I just get insta KO'd. I have no idea what happens and is it some weird bug?
I don't even lose life, I just get one shotted by I don't even know what. Im running a 5 pc Rattle set with the rest being lich stuff.
Help?
Am I the only one with this glitch/issue?

yea that shouldnt happen, you get knocked down but shouldnt lose life. then you kill manimarco.

Dont know what is the issue.

Is that the one where Mannimarco puts some sort of barrier around the area? If so, if you get too far away from the action you run into the barrier and get rekt.

If you get knocked into the barrier, you insta die. I don't thinks its visible either, but its been a while since i've done this quest. That may be what happened.

Apparently using potions, ultimates, or magicka abilities would have helped, so maybe you can learn from my mistakes.

Took me a couple instadeaths to realize it was that mostly-invisible barrier as well.
