Ok, so I'm thinking this setup:

Head: skinchanger heavy or stahlrim frostcaster light (probably be hidden most of the time anyways though)

Chest, Legs, maybe gloves/boots: Silken Ring. Gotta buy the motif still but i never knew it had that vine-look on all the pieces, even on heavy armor, not sure what weight to go with though.

Shoulders: Still liking bosmer cotton light the best, has a few little branches. Telvanni shoulders arent bad either though.

Belt: Still need to find a belt that has a prominent nature-y buckle on it. Otherwise probably khajiit, which has the two crescent moons.

Shield: Trinimac, has an embossed tree on it, also like how it dyes.

Staff: Skinchanger, like the antler look.

Sword: maybe ancient elf, depends on how the dye system turns out. I was going to go with the mazzatun mace but was disappointed with how it actually looks. No other maces really have a nature feel to them, was looking for something like a scepter but no joy.
The other option is either the mazzatun or argonian 1h axe, both of which appear to be like a hatchet/tomahawk mix. The argonian one has feathers on the back but is otherwise plain in design.
If nothing else, I know ancient elf swords go bright green at purple/gold quality and swords were pretty revered in druidic/pagan cultures due to being rare and expensive/hard to come by. Every sword in norse culture had a history and legend behind it, most warriors used axes due to taking less metal to make.

druid and armour..... not really on the button.

robes.... that's the thing..... lots of robes.

thing is they need a leathery-looking shabby robe covered with twigs

I almost feel like the soul shriven robe would be a good image for druids, but then it just looks like a ratty wizards robe.

I think we have different views of what a druid would look like here.

Yes, the traditional druid is someone in plain robes with a plain stick. I'm going more fantasy druid I guess, with leather/scale/chain armor and a tougher appearance. Think druids or shamans from warcraft or druids from diablo 2. Celtic knots in armor, nature-inspired gear, etc.

aside from the WoW druid those things you posted are either rangers or barbarians.

In fact im pretty sure by what you described you're looking for Ranger setup. Druids wear leather.
