Crown Sale soon?

What with housing and morrowind coming soon, I need some crowns, but I resent paying full price for them since they are on sale so often. Anyone know if there is crown sale due soon? I'm on PS4 but I'm sure any platform info will be appreciated by someone.

For that very reason Zos would be stupid to offer a crown sale. But Zo$'s marketing often seems stupid to me so maybe you will get lucky. You won't get advanced warning of a sale though.

Personally I think Zos has made a mistake offering sales so regularly. It devalues subscriptions in several ways. Firstly by offering proportionately far more crowns for £'s, and as many players ONLY buy crowns on sale, items in the Crown store are effectively 40% cheaper for them, which is no doubt the reason crown prices have been inflated for everyone.

So now we have housing which will cost over 10ķ crowns, but if you buy crowns on sale then a manor comes down to about the cost of a regular large pack of crowns. Cheap crowns are damaging the crown store, and people put off buying crowns because they expect a sale, so I think players and ZOS would be better off without sales. Just my opinion.

Crown sale after Homestead? Would be foolish from a marketing stand point to offer one before than. Gotta let people blown all they can on houses first than pick up the few that actually have the patients to wait.

I don't think crown sales are the issue at hand. I consider the crowns handed out to subscribers the main problem.

They have realized that handing out their content for free is a bad idea, but this is exactly what they have done with ESO+.

I assume that the sales price of crowns will sooner or later be fixed at the 40% reduced level, crown packs will be larger, and the sub crowns will remain the same.

Essentially, they are preparing crowns for an instant 40% inflation. Thus, the sheep will not complain (which would happen if they announce that sub will only get 900 crowns a month instead of 1500), and the new pricing level will be approximately the same as today in real money, but 40% higher in crowns.

Subs still get some added value, but a part of the sub money actually goes against content access.

There has literally just been a crown sale which ended like two weeks ago. I believe it was Europe only tho.

I guess we will know when it happens. I don't think there's ever a heads up.

As always the crown sale will most likely happen one/two weeks after new the DLC,so they can get the maximum profit and of course they won't say nothing about crown sale until you see it on the website.

@ricam users and sometime zos report it on the forums, Twitter Facebook etc. As well you can just check every once in awhile to see if crown prices changed.
