Just because Cadwell Silver&Gold failed doesn't mean the game should be brain dead easy forever.
"ESO doesn't need a harder overland" on YouTube for a video of a naked level 3 character w/ no CP allocated AFKing in front of a bear for a minute and a half before dying if you don't believe me change is needed.1 -

✭Not sure about armour, but the Priest of the Green costume would have certainly worked. Otherwise, depending on what look you are after, the Soul Shriven light armour has a certain 'earthy' appearance. The datamined Moth Priest costume (?) might also fit the bill, if we get it. Or the Glenmoril Witch outfit?
We are a bit limited with choice on the robe front, particularly if you just want a nice simple, humble look. A lot depends on how you interpret 'druidic'.0 -

RavenSworn✭✭✭✭✭I used bone armour with Argonian. Very druidic looking. It's basically bone headpiece and arms, the rest in Argonian light armor. Bosmeri robes look the part as well but not as intimidating.
Primal robes also looks good as a druid. Have fun!Ingame: RavenSworn, Pc / NA.

Don't base your opinion of what look is best on the idea that the Warden is just a Druid. Aside from the fact that there's nothing about being a Druid that really precludes armor, the fact is that this class could be considered lots of things, from Druid to Ranger to Beastmaster depending on the skill and equipment loadout.0

The robe you get from the last quest from the Dark Brotherhood series of quests seems potentially druid-like to me. Although, I just got it this morning (I finished the DB quests! Yay!) and it looks weird on female characters. It's too big for them and makes them look like they have a tiny head. There's nothing really "nature" about frost-based magic either, given that frost kills most plant life
