Console Only - Would you prefer Xbox or PS voice chat to be integrated instead of ESO voice chat?

Please only vote based on the platform you play on....so it's as accurate as possible.

Today we have ingame voice chat for parties and it's very useful, however we find ourselves experiencing bugs that seemingly ZOS can't resolve. (Assumption considering how long the bugs have existed)

If the platform allowed it, would you like for ESO for parties and trials only... (problably not guild chat) to use your platforms console party chat by default instead of the ingame voice chat?

-This integration would cause the name pop using the console (may involve both the console and ZOS devs)

Obviously it's optional but let's say In the game social settings, when grouping it let's the console offer party chat, as an option. I realize we can do this manually, but it's not integrated at all.

    What does this actually achieve? If you refer to the bug of being stuck in the infinite chat timer loop then it's a simple fast travel to an instance and it sorts itself. I've never had any other bug with game chat in thousands of hours play.

    There is apparantly another one, where you can't hear people etc, all you need to do on XB is create a party and them go game chat and it's fixed. Never had it myself but guildies have.

    I think the ESO voice chat is fine. In fact when the game begins to freeze and is seconds away from crashing, the Voice Chat is the only thing still working. Kinda funny when the whole thing freezes, but I'm still talking to my Guildmates.

    @DRXHarbinger

    My idea and hope is to achieve while playing ESO, For ZOS to consider or better utilize each consoles social offerings for communication.

    I agree some of the bugs can be resolved with differing actions, however, as you wrote above....a lot of the work arounds tend to require leaving the area or even leaving and entering communication or the entire game itself.

    What I've never heard, is that each consoles voice chat systems consistently not working compared to ESO's and more often than not, I'm invited or I initiate invites to the Xbox one party chat

    So the thought was if the game could free up some of its resources to what is 100% available and considerably more stable, it's worth asking via a poll to gauge some thoughts and have deeper discussions around it.

    @vonScuzzman

    I think I'm saying Don't change it but enable it.
    I'm interpreting that you are saying you already use Xbox party chat over ESO voice chat and have channels or parties that you go to and plan to keep doing so.

    If that's a correct understanding, I'm saying, it seems many are like you so if the game were to better offer you to maintain this, what are your thoughts

    Right I see. Fair enough. Ditch area chat etc. It's not used for anything other than trolling and people desperate to sell something immediately. Guild chat.....how many of us have ever seen more than 1 channel full?

    Should be group..zone for instanced areas only and one guild chat. That's seriously all I've ever used.

    Keep them as they are for Cyro, can't upset the pvp crowd can we. Watch that lot destroy warden within weeks.

    I'm not sure how to choose. The in game chat keeps messing up for me recently. I have used PlayStation chat, but it's a bit strange to use and then you don't see names with voice and there's no guild chat....if they could integrate the stability of system chat with features of game chat it would be better.

    Hmmm good ideas there.

    -idea to remove proximity chat (more input would be needed for QoL there)

    -idea to reconsider guild chat (I've never seen more than 25 ppl in one. Ppl do use other channels but console party seems to utilized more often)

    -idea to keep PvP voice options (no changes)

    Your identifying where my idea stems from.
    I should edit the OP cause if this were integrated, the name pops would show but the service would be your console service (maybe that's more of a mix between console and ZOS development)

    Primarily this is the main opportunity.
