Come on ZOS. Make it happen. Give us magic users the ability to enjoy being a werewolf by giving us more magic uses in werewolf form

Some helpful hints: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lycanthropy#Skill_Perks

Same as being a vampire. Give stamina like abilities like running faster and extra endurance.

    I play a Stampireblade

Mostly because dark stalker is great for ganking. All the downsides are irrelvent because if I fail I am dead anyway.

I'm all for the idea of some morphs and new skills. Here are some things I've been thinking:

    For the werewolves:
    • Feral Pounce could be converted to magicka. This is fitting since it extends time in werewolf form. The other morph, because it does more damage, is a good candidate to remain stamina.
    • Hircine's Rage: Convert to stamina for weapon damage, or leave as is to balance stamina werewolves.
    • Ferocious Roar: As a magicka ability, this could be the strongest weapon in a magicka werewolf's bar, on par with the stamina pounce.
    • Howl of Agony: Convert to magicka. Let stamina werewolves keep despair for balancing.
    • Claws of Life: Convert to magicka. Claws of Anguish, is more destructive and "feels" more stamina-based.
This way, stamina werewolves would still have more burst damage, but magicka werewolves would be more equipped to sustain with a decent magicka attack available.

As for vampires, Vampire Lords in Skyrim get some pretty sweet melee attacks and poison damage in addition to their magical powers. That could be worth exploring for ESO.

Werewolves are physically unable to use magic in their transformed state.

Yes they do. Werewolves uses magic to howl in which they heal themselves. The ability is called Hircine's Bounty and it cost 4069 Magicka.

Werewolves are physically unable to use magic in their transformed state.

Body tends not to matter in the Mundus. Many creatures on Nirn are able to generate and use magicka. Reptilian animals and some bugs can wield actual shock magic. The mountains and sub-arctic regions of Tamriel abound with wolves and other beasts that can use frost magic while fighting or hunting prey.

Werewolves currently have a magicka-based skill: their healing howl. So already, they have access to their magicka pool in combat. Tweaking some other skills to allow magicka morphs would be just as lore-friendly.

That's in ESO which goes against much of ES lore, In skyrim they would lose all magic regeneration and you couldn't use magic attacks, In Morrowind they lost their intelligence and willpower, two key attributes needed to cast spells.

besides Lycanthropy is about releasing the inner beast, what part of releasing the inner beast involves using magic?

In Skyrim as a werewolf you can conjure Ice Wolves and other werewolves with your howl. These are magic based abilities to which you can enable through your shout command.
