FluffyReachWitch✭✭✭✭✭Pets aren't totally useless. The Clannfear was incredibly helpful during my tanking experiments. Being able to press a button for a massive heal during a boss fight is nice. Plus, it's hilarious to see bosses lose track of you because a Clannfear is poking them in the ankles.2 -

The idea that no one uses sorc pets is incorrect, just flat wrong,
i can say that most of the time i play the content, i see sorc pets in play - not meaning from me but other folks. Just randomly out and about the clanfear and twilights are common.
Some folks for some content dont like pets, certainly, but they are in common use.

i have one dedicated sorc pet char - use to solo dungeons.
I have one sorc that goes back and forth between pets and no pets depending on my mood.
i have one stam sorc - no pets.
i will have a warden or two - likely two with the new slots come june. At least one will be pets, if not both.Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.

I use pets and have a gold set of Necropotence. It gives me like 45k magicka, a back up heal, and a bit of extra damage. It is great for questing when you can't find a buddy tank or healer when you are doing World bosses and other harder content.Edited by Sweetpea704 on February 1, 2017 9:23PM0 -

Sorc pet build was parsing for 41k+ self buffed in the 3 mil hp skellie. Could very well be viable in trials if it follows through to live.Edited by idk on February 1, 2017 9:37PM1 -

Trials are only one (small) part of this game.
Some of us have different gear and skill rotations for different types of content, like PvE, PvP, Group Dungeons, Trials etc.
I know, i know, the horror ...

You dont have to use that skill line.
There have been people asking for another kind of in combat pet. This will give that to them.
Most of my characters use only 2 of the 3 class skill lines. The 3rd either doesn't fit wit their build or its the wrong attribute.Beta tester November 20130 -
