You wanted to explore more of tanriel and get new features and a new class, the expansion(s) will and may give you all 3. These small DLCs allow ZOS time to perfect the expansions. ZOS can't win either way which is a shame

✭✭People are gonna be mad about it no matter what you say. They will continue to feel entitled to it with their sub because ZOS said that ESO+ includes all future DLC (which it still does) even though ZOS has said that this is not a DLC it is a new chapter. I am a sub and I am more than happy to pay for it. I have already pre-ordered the digital and physical collector's editions.2 -

Pretty much this, I think much STHU will be had after the astronomical sales numbers get bragged about. Even if ZoS announced Morrowind outsold WoW's last four expansions combined you would still see the usual suspects doing what they do best.

While I'm also a sub and happy to pay, I understand their complaints. For example a vid I watched from a couple of years ago had zos explaining the benefit of ESO+ and saying, quote:
"ESO Plus members, while you are a member you have access to the regions, so different dungeons, additional content, you're going to have access to that."

Had this been a more experienced company? You'd be right. But these people haven't perfected their base game even before DLC was a thing, sooooo...

Yes I can see that but that was also a couple years ago and things can change. They are still holding true to that statement with the exception of expansions which is understandable. A lot of big MMO games charge for expansions. WoW is a perfect example. They charge $50 for a new expansion on top of the required monthly subscription fee.0 -
