PC version or Xbox version of Morrowind Collector's edition to get?

I played ESO a bit on PC switched to Xbox One then back to PC then took a very long break from it. So here is my question. Since I already have a digital copy ESO on Xbox One, my son can play it as well since the Xbox One is the "make Xbox home".

If I get Morrowind Collectors edition is it locked to an account? By that I mean I can keep all the bonuses to myself, buy a digital copy of Morrowind so I can play it and then give the disc to my son so can play it? So this way I can play ESO without a disc and my son can play with the disc since it doesn't bother him playing with or without disc.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

I bought eso once and i was able to use it on my home Xbox and my non home Xbox (just one) and use 2 separate accounts for me and my ex-wife to play together. so yes i would think you can but the expansion might be different than the base game idk?

    hope that helps a little.

    *edit*

sounds confusing, and it was when i was trying to figure out with Xbox if it was allowed. but i bought it once can use it for up to two platforms. as long as its your home Xbox you can play with no disc so you just have to have the disc in your son xbox

Thanks for the reply magictucktuck. My son's Xbox is the "home" xbox. So he would be able to play Morrowind, but I would need to have the disc then? That is not so bad if that means I don't have to buy another copy and my son can still play Morrowind.

You responded as I was typing above. That is what I thought and so I asked. I just want to make sure that I get bonuses for my account, buy a digital copy of Morrowind so I can play and my son uses the disc. But seeing how my Xbox is not the "home" Xbox as Magictucktuck said. I see I will need the disc and my son would have to get the digital version now.

    Thanks for your reply.

it's platform specific, though I'm pretty convinced one day we will see cross platform

I play PC, but I have to say the XB1 version is surprising in it's Aesthetics and extremely friendly community . It's surprising after dealing with Nightmare communities for other console MMO's that's refreshing. I don't think you will go wrong no matter what version you choose.
