Heavy attacks for melee

If I do a half charge attack with a melee weapon will I deal as much damage as a fully charged weapon or will it deal less damage.

its usually called a medium attack. Yes less damage.

Ok but are heavy attacks inconvenient because you dont actually deal that much damage compared to medium and it takes much more tiime to execute.

Yes and no. Fully charged Heavy attacks are great for setting up burst if you can land them, and they return resources. In PVE you will only use them to either get resources or when opening up on the target.

Go out and try testing the difference between a fully charged heavy and a medium weave from stealth, its a pretty big difference.
