So there is a new expansion pack comming. Possibly better late than never as not many challenges in the game left so just using game for guild chat purposes and helping newbies. Not what I expected for 2017 and with housing comming. Which to be honest is not my priority. I feel like it might be time to call it a day on eso as no challenges quests roles to do

Why am I not happy ?

I have been a member of eso plus since launch. Without any breaks. Then one day I get told players who are not monthly eso plus have been given free crowns. I assume that Is not fare 2 of my mates who have no dlc or eso plus got 13k for no reason. Eso stated they were owed, owed for what not being a eso plus member.
Now we hear we have homestead wow stay in doors all day without questing. Nice time wasting till June 6 months then morrowind I think it's called 40 pound for eso members. It should be free as we eso plus members pay towards the development of content as a revenue stream for eso. Then there is guild crates what a waste of time and additional monies. For what. Then the elk dearest mount in history of eso.

So to recap my moan

Bored as nothing new So far
Bored as housing is the next addition
Bored as new content in June which we have to pay for
Bored with lag in cyroldol just as you are having a good battle
Bored of vma lag and dashboard ingredients

Bored bored and most of all not happy as I am sure all will agree there should be perks for eso plus free dlc always as we are loyal. Free armour or random gifts.

Assurances that we are a valuable asset to the game

There I said it. Without us there is no game. Keep us happy not dissatisfied as that results in gamers leaving. And that is Bad business

Ps what's making it worse 1 hour keep getting message login failed connection to server timed out.

Resetted xbox cleared save data removed alt mac address hard reset nothing . Hard reset modem

It just keeps getting worse

I don't really understand the "Boo Hoo" I'm quiting threads that come through this forum. Why do you feel it is necessary to come to the forums to announce you are quitting the game. Are you wanting people/admins to beg you to stay? If you had subbed since launch, then you had more than enough crowns to buy all the DLC's and get everything in the crown store and probably the crates. With this expansion, they have given the community pretty much everything they have asked for ( except spell,and jewelry crafting). They have said that they are making some major changes to Cyrodiil for the performance. With the knowledge of Morrowind being, "instanced" for lack of a better word right now, theres hope that maybe they do the same thing with Cyrodiil. I too, have moaned at the feet dragging of performance of this game. But it looks like they finally have the resources to start making moves to improve it.

Paying for "Expansions" paves the way for more content. 6 months ago i never thought they would fill the empty map in a timely manner. But when you release content like Morrowind, it looks like it could possibly be done. just be patient. Good things take time. Dont be the stereotypical millennial that wants things yesterday. its coming "SOON"

And if you really haven't taken a break since launch, you are long over due. Go out and get some air. If you cant do that, the Witcher 3 provided some 200 hours of decent game play. take a break and come back, or do what ever you need to.
But enough of all the people coming to the forums because they are "butt hurt" about the game and feel like they need to let everyone know that they are "QQ" and are quitting.

who got free crowns? 13k free crowns to a mass of players would been an announcement, there is none. thus zos did not give free crowns out to people just to give them to them. if someone got 13,000 free crowns they won them in a contest, in which everyone would have been eligible. for. so that is a mute point. i would say based on the time frame of this post that they probably won it as a prize in one of the latest eso live events in which they often do random prizes that sometimes are pretty good. but i do know there has been no announcement of nonsubbers being owed 13000 crowns for no apparent reason. trust me this whole forum would explode if they did some crap like that. generally game companies only do things like that if there is a game breaking bug that stops a lot of players from being able to progress through the game that takes an extreme amount of time to fix, which rarely ever happens.

who is to say nothing else is coming out between now and june? sorry but you making an assumption based solely on announcement of content which in no way guarantees linear addition of content.

eso members pay for benefits, not development of content. sub is not equal to sub. in a game in which players are not required to sub, and sub only provides benefits, not access to the game, you are not as a subbed member paying for the future development of the game, you are paying for the benefits of being a higher tier customer of the game. think of it as an aircraft airliner. some people pay x for coach class fares, others pay y for first class fares, first class fares board earlier, get nicer seating, more room, nicer food, ect. both get to enjoy the aircraft and both arrive at the destination at same time, some just pay more for more benefits and comfort.that is what you are paying for as a subbed member. get off your high horse, zos requiring you to pay for the expansion is not a reneg of benefits or ripoff. they are not denying you subbed benefits or access to content you already paid for.

lastly, if you bored play something else, pvp, or grind for gear in prep for new content release in june.

If you're going to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. I don't understand why people are complaining about paying for an expansion regardless if you're a sub or not. Most games require you to pay a monthly subscription on top over whatever expansion packs come out. I am aware that ZOS "promised" that subs would never have to pay for DLC but they didn't break that promise. Morrowind is an expansion not a DLC. If you can't afford to save $40 over the next 4 months, get a job for a day.

I appreciate your reply and you are correct on some points. Re crown coins I now for a fact the 2 people who got them.

Re subscriptions without subscriptions there is no money for development. As investors who plough there money into financing expect a return. Monthly subscriptions go towards profit and loss and budgets for developments hence monthly subscription length.

I was having a rant l. Is that so bad. I wanted to be heard is that so bad.

You are right I will be cancelling my eso plus and then with the money saved by the expansion then reactivate the membership

We have had the small vocal group of the usual suspects that have done nothing but Whizz and moan since launch.

Everything is broken, everything is boring, ZoS comes into their rooms and kicks their puppies, the game is going to shut it's doors soon blah blah blah. I have a neighbor over on the next block who is working on his fifth account, he keeps getting banned here for non constructive posts and goes right back out and buys a new account and sub just to complain on the forums.

He has this messed up theory that if ESO closes TES6 will get developed faster, I get that's extreme and not indicative...but it speaks to the level of mock outrage and hysteria on these forums.
