Hi,
Background:
I recently downloaded game on to my new computer I built. I had downloaded game onto an older computer but I no long have this computer.
On my new computer I have a SSD and mechanical drive. I have the OS on the SSD and I downloaded the game onto my mechanical drive. I mention this just in case it has something to do with the error below.

After downloading game I hit the play button. After hitting the play button I get the following error showing up on my screen (see attached screenshot).

Any ideas on what is going on?

It seems the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package is missing. Download it from Microsofts website (look out for x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64bit) depending on your system) and install it.
Alternatively, you can try to repair the vcredist_x(bit-version)_2015 in the Launcher-folder of ESO.

I tried the reinstall from the Microsoft website but did not work. but what I don't know is if I did it right.

the alternative you suggested can you let me know how to do this?

could my OS being on one drive and the game being on another be causing the problem?

so close to playing with friends but yet so far.........any help y9ou can give I would appreciate it.

ok still can not play game.......I did a search on msvcp100.dll and found two locations on the C-drive which is the SSD. Note: Game saved on the D-drive (mechanical drive). see image enclosed

are the files not located in places they should be? is this the problem? or is there something else?

    anyone out there to help?

ok got it fixed......not sure why but here is what I did............

Originally I went to a Microsoft site where I thought I downloaded both 32bit and 64bit and installed them. This for some reason did not work. Then I found a thread where the 32bit and 64bit downloads were on individual Microsoft sites. I did each of these below.

    32-bit
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=5555

    64-bit
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=14632

I looked at the previous image I sent out and noticed the x86-32bit version was installed. I then went to link about to install 64 bit version. after doing this see image below that file was added to system32 folder. There are other instances of the serach for msvcp100.dll but they are not applicable.

after installing 64-bit I hit play and IT STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps someone out there
