Assuming Nord will be the best race for Warden.

The health recovery, stamina, ice resistance it just seems like the perfect fit.

Not to mention the whole bear as a companion thing.

    Stuff I think'd be neat:

Time based wolf or mountain lion ally to attack enemies (physical version of dark shade)

An area DoT involving a swarm under your enemies (area of spiders that snares/weakens?)

Speaking with your butt option for conversations (finally, my Ace Ventura toon is IMMERSIVE!)

I dont think they Will be better end game tanks than DKs but i am hoping they are..
We dont know the abilities but
Frost magic could debuff enemies and freeze them maybe? Could be useful for tanks

What baffles me and hasn't fit into any other discussion yet: Why release a class like the Warden with frost magic and bear companions with Vvardenfell of all places? It should have been added with Wrothgar if anything.
It's quite obvious they wanted to add value to the so-called "chapter" and glued the scrapped 5th class from alpha back together, instead of adding a class that actually fits the theme of the new content.

And my biggest concern next to no ability for class change is that this might be another nail in the coffin for spellcrafting.

This is my own...not a leak, lol

    "Winter's Reach"

Bring down a bolt of ice once per second for four seconds. Each bolt hits the target from a different direction, knocking them in that direction and damaging them for 2400 frost damage.

    Morph 1: Winter's Discontent

Converts to a stamina ability. Ice bolts now do physical damage and heal you for 35% of damage done.

    Morph 2: Solstice

Each bolt bounces to one additional target, dealing no damage but reducing their speed by 60% for six seconds.

I will be honest, isn't putting a class which will be involved in PVP behind a paywall making the game Pay too Win? what if the class is overpowered? in my opinion ZOS should add this as part of the base game not have it be behind a paywall.

I just hope the Winters Embrace skill tree isnt all AoE, but has a good single target spammable that doesnt need an instant cast procc (crystal fragment). Also hope it has a good class-damage shield.

Please dont let nature magic have a BoL equivalent heal, thats just so cancerous to fight magplars spamming it endlessly.

Summoning tree...just hope they implement pets in a better way the the current useless skill tree of sorcs (Conjuring) The pets AI and survivablity is severely lacking in pvp.

I'm hoping the class will be viable for all three roles. A tank tree, DPS tree and healing tree. I hope it will be another proper pet class, not just pets as ultimates. Some passives with + damage to frost, make my frost staff feel as powerful as my lightning stave in the hands of my sorc. Even better, I want more stamina morphs of skills. Let this be the spell sword class!

It would be nice if there was a way to change the bear to other creatures based on race.

I want to have a Dunmer Warden but the bear doesn't seem as thematic as a more Morrowind based creature would be.

I am incredibly excited for this new class. Its something I have been hoping for, for a very long time. I think its going to be so interesting to see how it plays when we finally get our hands on it!

One thing I do hope we get clarification on is whether we can have a limited time class change, or even better and my preferred option, two new character slots. With 12 slots filled already and a strong attachment to each one, the thought of deleting 2 saddens me.

Can't say I'm too keen on another pet class.. Aside from them already trying to push sorc pets more, it means 2/5 classes in game being pet-classes. I think its a bit of overkill. But I guess it depends on how much of an integral part of the class it is.

I don't think I'm too keen on ice-magic either - but it would make certain gear sets a lot more desirable.

Now on to the vid.. It seems to show a class effectively using a 2-handed sword *and* offensive *and* defensive magic.. Now if it pulls that off it would grab my interest!

what i know so far, the Bear remains untill killed its an ulti, u can heal it, so u can keep it 24/7 with you..
also the frost storm ultimate seen in the trailer seems kinda powerfull... i hope this class, since its carrying a 2H, brings a change to hybrid like.. build..

When I thought of my actual main, I imagined him being close to animals and wilderness and stuff. I choose NB class because there was nothing similar to my idea. Now though... I am going to remake him as Warden <3 In RP he has a bear, now he will be able to use it in PvE/PvP :DD I can't wait.

I can only hope that they are useful as being tanks/DPS/Healers, if you know what I mean.

Chances are, the pet lines are DPS.
In PvP, kill the Pet, player's less of a threat.
Am guessing that the bear revive morph is so the bear can auto-vive so you don't have to keep recasting, u unlike the clanfear pet. Should work exactly like the Werewolf ultimate's dumbfire pets.
I believe Ice Wall will be a big boon to tanking pve.
I expect Frost Pillar to be a knock back.
I expect there to be a recolored Encase ability.
I expect a dumbfire pet line, like NB Shadow Image, but with animals.
I imagine root snares like NB Cripple ability.
I expect there'll be a summon tree ability like Blood Alter, but have a bigger HoT.

Those are my guesses, Since some Classes abosrbed Warden Abilities at release & after Alpha Testing.

    I'm imagining

A skill line for pets (support)
A skill line for nature (healing)
A skill line for frost (tanking)

And I'm sure it will start out with some pretty OP skills (this is the tradition for new classes in mmos), but I have a feeling it will be more in terms of survivability than damage.

I'm actually pretty excited for this. I loved my druid healer in WoW and my chloromancer in Rift.
I have however never been a fan of pets in any game so I hope there's a viable way to spec without using pets.

The bear ultimate seems cool. I have visions of Cyrodiil being filled with bears though lol. Ice powers seem cool too. Ice magic is quite underrated and we don't see much. Well I don't.

Cyrodiil + LAG = it ain't going to be pretty.

    True.

But I intend to enjoy that OP-ness while it lasts.

TBH, I'd play Warden even if it was the most UP class in the game - that hole style and feel of it is what I have been looking for in ESO since day 1.
