Homestead: There are legit brothels being formed

Almost took a screenshot, but decided against it.

Was on the Gold Coat and someone with a name kinda of like "Magic Mike" was advertising for his brothel guild called something close to "Diamond Daggers." He was looking for guild recruits and or customers for his large house that will no doubt be full of scantily clad digital people doing the Divines know what.

Anyway, this is more evidence of why we need a second part of the Justice system so we can form groups and break up these brothel rings.

ALSO: The scuttlebutt is that the reason they made the character limits for housing the way they are is because of the performance issues for the lowest specced PCs/Consoles so that if all 24 people decided to pair off and have 12 separate duel at the same time, the performance wouldn't suffer.

That's weird because performance can suffer in a subzone from 2 people dueling - at least right when you enter it. The little apartments aren't even big enough to have a duel - or even move the camera around without getting dizzy.

So how do I join the guild where I watch nekkid men dance?

*shrug* If people want to actually go and pay someone to ERP with them, as this "idea" sounds, then more power to them. As long as they aren't doing it out in public chat where I have to read said awkward ( probable ) sexual content, then I don't care what they do behind closed doors.

Someone was advertising in zone the other night. I think it was 10k for a 5 minute ERP session guaranteed to get you off or half your money back.

He was good, but not that good. ... I mean, I have never been so offended in my life. As if I would ever use a service like that.

YES . . . people publicly ERPing should be flagged and allowed to be hunted down as criminals!!!! Just call it prostitution or some such. Although the possibility should be that you could pay the guard a certain amount of money that would get you a card allowing you to use the private room for "clients" in the inns

Most of my characters are prolific thieves and lowlifes. I've even been approached by a character who wanted to be my "slave" so I told them to go out and fleece rich people of their money and send me a certain percentage. And it happened for about a week so that was good lol!

In the Roman Republic (and later Empire) prostitution was not only tolerated but state-sponsored as "a moral good." Experienced madames, or female brothel owners, were very powerful and important women, their position being one of the few ways women during that time could acquire power aside from marriages.
