But, i will never, ever resub.
Not exactly a protest when weknow 75% of you will buy the expansion,if you do it before release, we know you'll be back in a few months time ready togive your money to ZOS \__/

However, I will buy the £30 version, and ZOS would have gotten £50 from me by the time of release if I remained subbed, not to mention the subsequent months they won't get.
So, yes, it is partly protest.
The other part is that I don't see the value in ESO+ anymore. I subbed to get the DLC in a way that supported the game a little bit more than just buying the DLC - I felt the game was worth it. But after 9 months without any DLC, and a year without any new zones... what am I paying for? I don't care for crowns, and the crafting bag isn't worth the subscription money.
Note: The 1 year and 9 month dates will be the duration without significant paid content at the time of Morrowind's release

I don't think you can say Thieve's Guild and Dark Brotherhood (or even Orsinium) weren't significant paid content because according to your math IC is the only piece of significant paid content which I simply just cannot see. And, while you may be disappointed by them, you can't say they weren't significant (especially Orsinium due to maelstrom weapons).

@Aidence:
I enjoyed TG and DB very much - with the exception of how the quest lines were gated by guild skill level. I do consider them significant content. Those dates were up until june 6th, the release of Morrowind. DB came out on 31st of may. a whole year will have passed between the Gold Coast being released, and Morrowind being released (We're still 4 months out from morrowind!)
By the same logic, 9 months will have passed between the last paid update (SotH) and morrowind. but I don't consider SotH to be significant.

No but it is still lost revenue for eso. If I am still around when the expac drops, they will have lost 3 months of sub from me. That is 45 dollars. Already more then I would pay for the xpac. Then they will loose probably the next 3 months sub at least since I doubt there will be a dlc then worth getting at the same time. So another 45 bucks. And then if I stick around after that, I'll strongly consider only buying the dlcs I want. Since I have now seen that they will force me to buy the good ones anyway.
So sure I'll still be here. And I'll probably still be playing, but they will be making less. I'm not really protesting. Or striking. I'm just unhappy with a decision they made. So I'm making some.

@vyndral13preub18_ESO
It's not lost revenue actually.
Consider that ppl on the forums tend to be subscribers but when I play in Xbox one....I'd guess that a very large% aren't and will never subscribe.
When I talk about it in randoms it's always....dude why are you paying extra. That's dumb
So consider that sub money or 5-10 million $39-$79 purchases
