There is no standalone Morrowind version.there will be no transfer, if you buy stand-alone edition (just Morrowind), then you play just Morrowind, if you buy the upgrade edition (or Eso base game+Morrowind editon), then apart from ESO base game, you just get access to Morrowind and can use the existing characters
What about the new tutorial though? We will skip the whole Molag Bal storyline?
Ok ok, but how will Morrowind-only ESO show the game on the map? Only Vvanderfell island? Isn't that like too small? :-/

There is no morrowind-only eso... new players will have to buy the full game which includes morrowind and all of eso we have now... existing players can buy the upgrade (which is cheaper)
There is no way to only have the morrowind part of the game
They have created a new tutorial for Morrowind, which means there will probably be an option when creating a new character to either play the new Morrowind tutorial or the old 'Wailing Prison' tutorial.
