I cast some other ultimate while bear is active. Will it make it dissapear? Or will the ultimate even regenerate while bear is active? (Didnt watch live stream for long)

I would love to be WW with two wolf companions, one bear and morkuldin sword.

    My guess is that it is a toggle like Sorcerer pets, and if you change bars it will disappear. Did they say anything different?
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    They said it lasts as long it stays alive. It can be healed and if you travel with wayshrines it still wont dissapear. Sounds pretty cool.

    My guess would be it behaves similar to Werewolf transform, and you won't be able to build ultimate while it is active.

    That means it will probably provide enough damage and utility to offset not casting something like meteor on rotation.

    During the first year of ESO crit damage and heals generated ult fast. With AoE damage it was possible to have multiple ultimates out at once including the sorc atro.

    I was actually hoping at some point in the video the bear turned into a person,shape-shifting would a been badass

    My guess it that it will be bugged for the first 6 months and either be entirely ineffective or extremely OP. Those are usually the only options.

    Also, did we already forget how terrible pets are?

    Most sorcs would gladly trade pets for some other usable abilities. And yet patch after patch, ZOS buffs broken pets when no one wants pets.

    unless ZOS changes coding significantly,

    I suspect a more salient question is: will you have to have it on both bars, or will weapon swap de-spawn it?

    I realize that sounds absurd but it's not like similar issues got thought about ahead of time, or resolved in a timely manner.

    Yup, these are issues we can foresee now but no doubt we will see these same issues on the PTS, when we complain about having to double bar the ult and they tell us it's too late to change it now...

    IIRC they describe a typical pet - except for two things.
    1 - seems like even if you change zones go into delves it wont vanish.
    2 a morph which lets it automatically respawn after death vs a morph that lets it have a key-click ability.
    Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.
