Morrowind Description

"Return to Morrowind in this new chapter of the award-winning online role-playing series, The Elder Scrolls Online. Morrowind is on the verge of destruction, and it’s up to you to save it from a deadly Daedric threat."
Is this the event that leads to the Daedra war? Could someone be carrying on Molag Bal's work by destroying Vvardenfell? Seen as we get to go into A PART of the clockwork city during the main quest, my money is on this being the start of the Daedric War.

Something about a meteor heading to hit Vivec City.
The stream may not have spoilt the story but the description partially did

Main ESO website mentions the meteor over Vivec City. If you've played TES III: Morrowind, you'll recall that the city had a meteor suspended over it. Vivec a long time ago stopped it, but kept it there as an "insurance policy" in that he could have it resume descending into the city should the people there forsake him as their god. After the Tribunal's power faded after the events of Morrowind, that is exactly what happened; the meteor crashed and caused (yet another) cataclysm on Vvardenfell, rendering it mostly inhospitable (as can be seen/heard in the Dragonborn DLC for TES V: Skyrim).

Mehrune's Dagon threw that meteor to vivec city. It will later be called Ministry of Truth.

It's established Elder Scrolls lore. Just Google "Ministry of Truth".

Um, I don't think they said you'd be seeing A PART of Clockwork City during the main quest, they mentioned that it was where the Trial takes place, in one of the workshops.

Oh did I, because that is what I heard. In fact, they specifically asked if they would be going to Clockwork City and he hesitated, and then said partly, in the Trials. However, towards the end they hinted that Clockwork City would "possibly" be coming as a future addition.

Quote: It is written that when he rebelled against the Tribunal, Sheogorath tricked the moon Baar Dau, inspiring it to hurl itself at the city of Vivec, and justified his actions by claiming Vivec was built in mockery of the heavens. Vivec is then said to have frozen Baar Dau in its descent with one gesture; the moon then swore itself to the Tribunal's service forever.[5] After the Nerevarine released the heart of Lorkhan and Vivec disappeared, Baar Dau eventually resumed its descent, destroying Vivec City and instigating the disasters of the Red Year.[25]

What I want to know is if there will be crossover from ESO to Morrowind. Will I be able to play my existing characters in Morrowind, or is everything starting from scratch? If there is crossover, will my character slots be full, since I have nine, or will I have at least one space to start a Warden? Sure hope the announced FAQ addresses some of these questions.

I can answer one part... they said you'd be able to take your existing ESO characters into Morrowind, and new characters started in Morrowind into ESO. I would expect that if you are upgrading ESO to Morrowind, then you will also have to buy additional upgrade slots.

EDIT: At 21:53 they talk about Sotha Sil and Clockwork City. There is no mention about main quest, they mention that you can go to a part of it, but then they go into discussing the Trial... now whether that Trial is the 'part of it' that they are talking about, it is unclear. But later on, I didn't scan through to find it, they mention that Clockwork City is 'possibly' coming as future content. Also keep in mind that the Main Story is involving Vivec, not Sotha Sil.

You can still go into a part of it. It's not mentioned as a trial, if it were, they'd have said instead of saying the trial was in one of Sotha's workshops. My bet is on the main storyline
