"Hoping for a Summerset DLC" or "What I hope mainland Summerset looks like"

Hey guys. As you know, the only part of the Summerset Isles in the game so far is Auridon, the second of the 3 major isles (the others being the Summerset Isle and Artaeum). Auridon has slowly grown on me, but I was still hoping for something a bit more opulent and fantastical, something that really fits the alter in my view. Even though most of the original, more bizarre, descriptions of the isles have been retconned, I still think it would be cool for the rest of the isles to be a bit more magical.

I found some sketches that I swear look exactly like something out of ESO but a bit more interesting in my opinion. I think if Summerset looked like this it would be a nice compromise between the old lore and the new lore, ontop of just looking really neat.

So am I the only one that hopes Summerset looks like this? What do my fellow AD fans think? I definitely think we need our own DLC soon, as both the Covenent and now the Pact have had their own, while the AD feels sadly left behind. Not only that, but the AD zones are a bit Valenwood heavy right now, so I'd love to see anything Summerset or Elsweyr related. What do you all think?

I agree that Auridon was a bit of a letdown, but I still like it. Alinor would be an amazing addition, but I don't think it will happen. If they show all of the summerset isles, you lose that sense of mystery and mysticism that surrounds them and the high elves in general. That's why I don't think Bethesda will let ZoS do it, and why I don't think we'll ever see Alinor in a TES game. That art looks great though!!

I recently made a post about how I wished for alinor instead of vvardenfell and that was a failure. Most the people that posted were so morrowind hyped that they could give to poops about altmer culture and lands.

In case you haven't read this its long forgotten quest datamine from the main island of summerset. Give it a thorough read and you will be far more educated about altmer lives and culture

Oh yes I love that datamine! According to Schick the basic lore is still canon too. These ideas for Summerset are actually amazing and would've exceeded my expectations.

I don't think we should ever seen the entirety of Summerset until a mainline game comes out, but even a single region or two would be nice. If it looked like this I'd definitely be into it!
