I'm new to ESO, and Sub, but have upgraded Bank with gold some, and some inventory bags on 3 toons. Not maxed out by any means, but for sure I'm in the Upgrade category.

I'm saving my crowns for the Bank assistant, but once I get that out of the way, I will prolly use monthly crowns from Subbing to buy bag space for some of my storage alts.

I am just going to echo what many have already said, so not much to add. Many of us wanted armor and weapon display type storage, as well as some chest type shared storage. I can max all my toons and bank, and still not have any armor or weapon display. That is a feature I feel would add tremendous value to the housing, and that would be something I would want to work on maxing. It is a bit odd to limit storage to bags and bank for no other reason than , not enough people are maxed out on space. I would be very interested in upgrading storage in my homes, rather than bags, alts, and bank. The current set up really limits shared storage, and I don't see why that would be considered a good thing. I agree with others who said, folks may be more interested in taking advantage of storage upgrades in a different format, like housing, than have been for bags and bank etc. I hope the display and chest storage is something that will be reconsidered.

how can one never upgrade bag space if they've been in the game for awhile? its only like 400 gold on the first upgrades

They looked at every character instead of every account. Meaning 1 account has upgraded their bank and their bag on 1 character. Could have 7 mules that didn't so ZOS counts that. Their "numbers" are complete bs. I've dealt with a game company like them before. They make up ridic lies and bs stories about why this isn't there or how they can't add this.
I left that company's game for this but it seems it happens with a lot of companies now.

Let's be honest here - if you have 3m to buy the super awesome houses(which are apparently worth developing) you have upgraded your bags and bank.

I wonder what percentage of the population has that kind of money? I imagine it's far less than 50%, possibly less than 3%.

How can you justify that, really? Not enough people have upgraded their bags to need more storage, but enough people are filthy rich to the point of warranting the creation of probably the most time and labor consuming houses in the patch.

I did buy on my main when there was a sale involved on the crown store but sorta stopped and am using gold for the rest.

My system is when I arrive in a new city I then Deconstruct all the loot I don't need on my alt.

Bank is maxed out, 6 out of 9 characters are maxed out for their bags, one character is maxed out for saddle bags, working on the others.

Time for ZoS to look at the numbers of this poll..

Maxed my bank and bags. Also use a guild bank as storage. Still feel like I can never get below 120/200 items in my inventory.

Adding 30 or so BoP items and making trial sets BoP did the game no favors for inventory management. With BoP changes I feel compelled to keep drops with good traits in case a future balance change makes it good so I don't have to rerun the same content a dozen times.

Really looking forward to dealing with 4,000 new items in the coming housing patch....

I think ZOS is right about the 50% . Those are the people that started the game, created a character, played a few zones but didn't like it and never returned. They probably never upgraded their bags / banks also. Zos does not only look at ACTIVE accounts.

They could be looking at people who have not logged in over the last 2.5 years, but I certainly would not do that, if I was them. It is not beneficial for Development to base decisions like this on the behavior of people who do not play the game. This 50% appears to be startling enough for them to question the numbers, rather than just accept them. This makes me believe that they are looking at active players, and if they looked at everyone, it would be larger than 50% .

Now, what do they consider active? That is a bigger question. Is this everyone who logged in over the last week? Month? Six months? Other questions are interesting, too. Is there a bias with multiple accounts because they are less likely to do a lot of upgrades? Is it necessary to take into account max account character levels, and how long they have been playing? Are all characters on an account considered together or separately? Is one maxed character on an account enough to be in the "3%" or do they all have to be maxed?

I know @ZOS_RichLambert loves numbers, so I do wish he would pop in and give us some insight into this.
