Unlikely. Since they are banking on the crown store sales. So any decent mount ideas will come either in the crown store, or worse, as apex reward in crown crates.Could we get some mounts attainable in game for quests...
I had high hopes for Orsinium - the logical reward for that last "artifact collector" quest would have been a bear mount instead of the three costumes. but alas... and if they didn't do it there, they wouldn't do it anywhere.
And flying mounts are a very, very bad idea for ESO... in so many ways, from people flying over cyrodil keep walls to people flying off the map (and the things they'd have to change to fix those issues would be way more effort then they'd ever recover from flying mount sales I reckon)
However, -floating- mounts are something I'd love to se. No real flying, just "floating over ground" animation with no functional difference from any other mounts. Floating carpets. Floating broomsticks. Floating magelord thrones. Etc.
And I still want that "dwemer sphere rebuilt inte segway-style roller" mount...
The game -has- obtainable mounts. You can get a boring brown horse for as little as 10K gold...This game needs obtanable mounts,it doesnt have to always be crown store mounts
