I have upgraded my bag or bank space at least once

Stupid poll as many people are not on the forum. And i don't thing people here are the same that just play and not upgrading.

I think ZOS is scared that if they introduced housing storage, no one would buy bank or bag storage upgrades from the crown store.

I have my main character maxed out bag and bank. The others I do not care about because it's too expensive and I don't play them as much. I also exclusively play in Blackwater Blade and delete characters regularly.

I would not exactly consider one or two bag upgrades elitist (which is ZOS essentially implying by saying half the players don't upgrade even once). Their data likely includes accounts that are inactive, banned, spies or alts, bots, and people who picked the game up for a week and never played again. I saw someone linking PS4 achievement stats in another thread that said that only 15% of players even bothered to enter Cyrodiil. The poll is not representative maybe of the active community as a whole, but it's a whole lot more representative than of wherever they got their 50% stat from.

My main is maxed on bags and my alts have at least two upgrades each. My bank is maxed. My horse carry capacity is maxed on my main.

just to be clear - it was the 50% figure where the specific "active players" comment was made.

the could have said "players", they could have said "accounts" they could have said "characters" but for the 50% they said "active players" which means some degree of scrutiny applied.

or one can just imagine it was untrue - deliberately or accidentally - or conjure that it was inaccurately reported - or dream that its a bad analysis - etc - etc - etc but lets face it when it comes down to"statements made about analytics used" vs "imagined other stuff with no foundation" using the latter to discredit or dismiss the former seems at the very least humorous as hell.

i imagine in my own devious mind... that their gathering and collecting and determination of active vs dormant was done well but before they ran the numbers a small purple gremlicore used a transdator flux capacitor in tandem with a blue-green unobtanium surge inducer to alter the data so that they reached conclusions i dont wish they had.

So really, its george lucas who is to blame.

I'm going to assume that's because many people don't even know about it. I'm still learning new things. The first thing on my mount I'm upgrading is speed of course so that's going to take me forever to finish. I didn't even know I could upgrade my bag space until I stumbled onto a guy selling it. Then half the time I forget when I got the gold to keep upgrading it.

Everyone should get a manual e-mailed to them when they create a new account. So many quality of life things I had no idea about when I first started. Not like I think "hey I should go look up what I should do first online before I start playing." I just want to play.

I would not go as far as to say that ZOS was implying that a couple bag upgrades were elitist. They seemed to think this was a problem that they needed to address. That is far from implying that only elite players do it.

there was actually a small half comment about that from the speaker in the stream - that they may want to look at letting people know these options are available to them in some better way.

I just cant believe that 50% havent upgraded their bag or bank space. And even if it were true....ZOS implemented a *** ton of new sets and other stuff. 200 bag and 250 bank space is not enough to hold that. I'm constantly struggling where to put things with good traits which could be useful on a twink. I dont care if new bank space will cost me more than 100k gold. I just NEED it. And housing was the perfect opportunity to implement new storage.

We NEED (similar to the crafting bag):
- a bag to hold the crafted furniture
- a bag to hold the alliance war sieges!!

I play PvP 90% of the time and all the sieges use up a lot of space in my inventory. It doesnt even stack! So please (we know you dont care about PvP) just give us a war bag or whatever you want to call it. OR give is storage in OUR OWN house. What logical reason is there that I cant put stuff in a house. Srsly that unlogical. It is a *** house.

I maxed out my bank space almost the first year I started playing the game, and have max bag space on most of my characters. So if ZOS is using this excuse for not giving us housing storage, it's a lousy excuse. I feel that anyone who is ACTIVELY playing the game will at some point keep increasing their available storage.

Those 50% must have stopped playing after level 5 or something because I will not believe that that many people never upgraded their bank/inventory space at least once with their first character. Hell I have never heard of anyone not doing it in all my time here.

It takes an insane amount of gold to upgrade bag and bank space. That's why mine aren't maxed.

Much cheaper to start an alt and pay the first 4 or so bag upgrades.

ZO$ posted 7 million accounts created since launched but that doesn't mean 7 million players (accounts inactive due to people leaving, accounts owned by same player etc) so I'd question how many of the 50% that haven't upgraded are actually active or don't actually need anymore storage because they simply don't play much. You can prove just about anything if you use the correct statistics

Storage might come at a later date as they wanted to get the base functionality into the game, if that's the case storage might turn up in a year or 2, maybe. Just take a look at the lack of functionality in the guild stores, lack of functionality in guild management, I could go on

This can't be true. I think it's more like,

"Players are not buying all their bag and bank upgrades in the store, therefore we will not offer any storage options in-game. Ever. Unless they do, then we will offer redundant storage space in homes in the Crown Crates."

I'm not really skeptical. Nope, not a bit.

They created statistics so they could justify the failure of implementing what a large percentage of the people wanted and many have been begging for.

The only thing that they proved to me is that you can create and manipulate a data set to appear to back your failure.

My Bank has been maxed out for YEARS (literally), I also have 9 or 10 characters Bags maxed out and the other 2-3 characters are within an upgrade or two of max (I keep forgetting to upgrade them the rest of the way since they are 100% mules that I don't play much at all).
