Does this matter? It is completely unnecessary to buy a house in game. Pricing seems fine for something that is 100% voluntary to get and can be otherwise gotten in game.

You get almost 10k crowns from a 6 month sub, where are all the "Zos gave me $100" threads?

Negativity has gotten out of control on the forums.

To rich for my blood . I could buy a lot of content for that much money but housing would not be one I'd spend that much on .

Just like the gold prices, the price for a mansion is unreasonably high. The rest seems to be a bit on the high side, but not as unreasonable as a 6k motif or a 4.5k remodeled horse with no visual modifications.

It's expensive, but you can also buy it in game with gold. ZOS is smart by offering it up with both in-game gold AND crowns. Why? Players who would most buy gold from farmers will opt for crowns as the crown-to-gold rate is much cheaper than the cash-for-gold market. The option is available to raise the funds in-game for the house or to whip out your wallet. It's your choice. ZOS isn't making anyone buy it with crowns, just giving the options. It's fair.

A Barrel? haha man I saved for 2 months playing maybe an hour a day average and have the gold for a manor, ZOS is not bending me over anything, since you know, I dont really participate in it, just pointing out all the babies around lately complaining about something completely optional.

Funny you should mention people complaining when you're doing the very thing you're attempting to come across as all superior about. If you're gonna call others out about whining, it's usually a good idea not to do it yourself. I wonder if these houses come with an option to buy some self awareness. A few of you could do with some.

If by "The Lady" he's referring to the person who was partly responsible for the downward trajectory SWTOR is now seeing as seeds panted some time ago come to fruition he is probably correct.

SWTOR's last patch was so bad and so gouging that so may people unsubbed EA had to send out an emergency survey to see what was going on. That is the same EA that said it would not interfere in the day-to-day business of Bioware.

SWTOR Cartel Market suffers from gross over-pricing; but there Store actually seems reasonable compared to Zeni's current prices.

So, let put this in a different perspective:

You're OK with ZOS charging $100 USD for an in-game House; that without any additional storage or functionality that deepens the game, costs more than the game the House is located in?

That seems just fine to you?

Its reasonable I think, they were selling Stag/Elk mounts for 50.00 dollars, $100 bucks for a mansion in game is not much, how long would it take you to grind for the 3.5 million in game gold to buy it? how long would it take to earn the 100 bucks in RL. If its too much for you dont buy it simple.

£50 for a house that still needs fully furnished with items that will no doubt add up to over £1000. That's the real issue here. Oh wait, we're all master crafters, the rng will suddenly not railroad people into the CS and we've all been playing this game 24/7 for the last 2 or 3 years.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT! That is the point of the crown store and getting it in game, there are two ways to acquire the house. They are not greedy, if the houses could not be acquired without using crowns, still you have options and the $100 is not the only one there.

Get over the whole greed thing about the crown store already.

Only 10k crowns for a manor? I'm actually surprised, I originally guessed 24k knowing ZoS's strategy of overpriced crown store cosmetics, especially those also available via in-game gold.

So, if I use discounted crowns, the unfurnished mansion is $45.44. Buying the title would cost $136.32 . A bit pricey, and I would really only take the time to decorate one.
