Yep, "The Lady" has her greedy, nasty fingerprints all over this one. It's a shame too. I was hoping that ZOS wouldn't sink to the level of greed that's killed most every other MMO she's worked at... the downward spiral of ESO begins.
Yes $100 real money..... Guess what, you can buy $30,000 iphones, $100K watches, million dollar cars in REAL money too, doesn't mean you need to buy it! Get a grip people, if you find prices are too high, then don't buy! The whining has been strong the last few days.
Nice to see ZoS can shove you across a barrel and you'll take it any which way. Corps love people like you. Who needs pr when they've got people doing it for free. Bravo.
A Barrel? haha man I saved for 2 months playing maybe an hour a day average and have the gold for a manor, ZOS is not bending me over anything, since you know, I dont really participate in it, just pointing out all the babies around lately complaining about something completely optional.
Funny you should mention people complaining when you're doing the very thing you're attempting to come across as all superior about. If you're gonna call others out about whining, it's usually a good idea not to do it yourself. I wonder if these houses come with an option to buy some self awareness. A few of you could do with some.
Were you not the guy just saying a while ago you choose to be a node thief and general jerk player because others did it to you? Funny how you try to act all morally superior now.
And hey its feedback after all
What has nodes got to do with me saying you're whining about people whining?
Actually no, let me point out your flaw, I will use some colorful crayons to keep you attention. Youere not having a temper tantrum by complaining, your having a temper tantrum because of the drama in your post, and I quote you:

There is the drama, the emotional outburst and implies a tantrum.

So, let put this in a different perspective:Does this matter? It is completely unnecessary to buy a house in game. Pricing seems fine for something that is 100% voluntary to get and can be otherwise gotten in game.
You get almost 10k crowns from a 6 month sub, where are all the "Zos gave me $100" threads?
Negativity has gotten out of control on the forums.

It's expensive, but you can also buy it in game with gold. ZOS is smart by offering it up with both in-game gold AND crowns. Why? Players who would most buy gold from farmers will opt for crowns as the crown-to-gold rate is much cheaper than the cash-for-gold market. The option is available to raise the funds in-game for the house or to whip out your wallet. It's your choice. ZOS isn't making anyone buy it with crowns, just giving the options. It's fair.

Yup, that's the person I'm referring to.Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »Actually no, let me point out your flaw, I will use some colorful crayons to keep you attention. Youere not having a temper tantrum by complaining, your having a temper tantrum because of the drama in your post, and I quote you:

If by "The Lady" he's referring to the person who was partly responsible for the downward trajectory SWTOR is now seeing as seeds panted some time ago come to fruition he is probably correct.
SWTOR's last patch was so bad and so gouging that so may people unsubbed EA had to send out an emergency survey to see what was going on. That is the same EA that said it would not interfere in the day-to-day business of Bioware.
SWTOR Cartel Market suffers from gross over-pricing; but there Store actually seems reasonable compared to Zeni's current prices.
All The Best
