what is the point of complaining about crown prices of items if you do not have to buy them. It is purely voluntary. It is a choice and you can choose to not do so.
Creating a thread about it is even less pointless.

@Sigtric
LOL. nope, just goes to show some people do not understand business. They want to get paid, but hate having to pay. Entitlement kinda figures into this for those complaining about the crown store. LOL
It went right over your head but that's fine.
What's the point of replying to pointless threads if you don't have to reply to them?
Let me take a stab at it... You want to share your opinion on the matter and it validates your reason for posting it?
I love how everybody is defending ZoS greed. You already purchased the game to play it, that's supporting it enough.
Oh and please stop acting like ZoS is only doing this to keep the lights on. This isn't a Kickstarter funded game or company. Their parent company Zenimax Media Inc. whom created a small subsidiary consisting of around 300 employees called Zenimax Online Studios in 2007 solely to develop ESO and only ESO.
Zenimax Media Inc. is valued at 2.6 Billion USD. I love how the Dro-m'Artha is up in the crown store three days after they hotfixed the trial Lol.

By making single items more expensive, it makes the crown crates look more attractive because they look like more of a bargain in comparison.

I regret falling in love with this game. The developers have clearly showed they do not care about me, or you. They only care about our wallets.

Mmmmhhh... not exactly. The customer isn't the one who plays, it's the one who pays. Crown store items aren't a side product that help financing a main product, they ARE the product and the game itself isn't a product anymore, but a mean to sell the product (the crown store items). So are players. You don't become a customer when you play, you become a customer when you sub and/or buy in the crown store.
You already purchased the game to play it, that's supporting it enough.
And what part of the game are you unable to play ? If you purchased the game and DLCs you can play it - all of it. Not being able to afford a crown store mount absolutely does not prevent you from playing any part of the game. But if you purchase the game is Zos supposed to continue to work to give you free updates and cosmetics until the end of time? No. New cosmetics they continue to make will cost money - but you don't have to buy those and can just play the game you purchased if you want. It is your choice.

Uhh...no. They're likely doing it to keep their jobs. Parent companies shut down projects that aren't worth the investment. If you think Zenimax won't shut down ZOS for lack of profits, you clearly overestimate their parent company's willingness to sink money into bad projects.
Walmart has more than enough money to keep all of it's stores open but it shuts the ones down that don't make enough profit. You've got it backwards. If they get shut down, they're not going to get shutdown because they don't have enough money. They're going to get shut down because they don't make enough profit for the parent company.

You missed something. You purchase the game once. After that, you're done being a customer there. If you pay a sub to access it, you're now a customer again, but, since you don't need to pay a sub to play after you buy the game, playing doesn't make you a customer. Didn't you say you were a designer, and you don't even know how this works? Buying a Big Mac in 1982 doesn't make you a customer at McDonald's in 2017.
Look at it like this, because quite frankly, this is how it works: I bought Skyrim. Bethesda got paid when I made my purchase of the game, er, both times, since I have it on PC and the 360... Bethesda does not get paid when I play it, and they're not getting paid no matter how many hours I put into it. The same applies here, if I don't have a sub. ZoS isn't getting paid when I log in, if I'm not subbed. Therefore, w/out carrying a sub, I'm not a customer, just a player. A designer should really know this, I'd think, since I'm simply a gamer that's been playing in the industry for 30 years or so, SP included, and I know this.
Service = game.
Product = Crown Store.
You do not buy the game every time you log in. Your sub allows you premium type access to the service.

Your comment makes no sense as i was referring to people who owns the game AND pays a sub fee like ESO+. The game is a product you buy once. ESO+ is considered a service you are paying for. As someone who is an ESO+ member i bought a product, and now paying for a monthly service.

How much do they charge you each time you log in? Because I paid my 14.99 once, and didn't have to worry about it again. In the olden days, you may have a point, especially in Korea, where they were, or maybe still are, paying by the hour to play, but here, in the West, not so much. The steady stream of income comes from people that are buying from the Crown Store, and, quite frankly, it's like that with any game with micro transactions. The game is a marketing platform for the cash shop.

ESO+ is $14.99/month. Playstation + is $24 every 3 months. The game is not F2P on console.
Everything in the Store is optional. You do not need to even pay for the game to play it. They do not require you to buy a sub.
If you're not willing to support a game that you play countless hours than maybe another game would be better for you. You basically say "this is how I see things and if ZOS locks my thread than I'm right!"
Well you have your opinion but you're not 'right'. How do you expect the game to evolve or more content to be made for us if they literally give it away for free? Are you mad because you won't be able to afford it? Ok. Lots of people will and it will make up for it and you can keep doing what you do.
