I regret falling in love with this game. The developers have clearly showed they do not care about me. They only care about my wallet.

The devs and company are not your friends. They work for and operate a business.
Harsh truth, but a truth nevertheless.

As a Senior Designer in Los Angeles with clients such as Warner Bros INJUSTICE 2, Lego Star Wars and others. I don't see those clients as my friends at all. BUT I DO CARE ABOUT THEM! Your argument is terrible.
As a player, you are the client. You are paying for a service and a product.

Are you not receiving the service? Did they suddenly force you to have to pay where others aren't? No? Doesn't seem like they're doing anything very different from any of the other F2P with microtransaction MMOs I've been playing over the last 20 years or so. Of course, as a designer, you should probably already know that, right?

Actually my argument isn't terrible at all. Because people have different perspectives and outlooks upon things, and one doesn't necessarily invalidate the other.
Devs may be nice with us. They interact with us. But at the end of the day, we are a number and a profit margin to any business. We are consumers. Here to consume content and items given to us.
And whilst I am on this, why, OP, would housing be an attempt to make amends? Make amends for what exactly?
Housing is purchasable for in game gold. Furniture is craftable in game. If you want a fully furnished house right off the bat with no effort, it'll cost money for the convenience of getting it all fast. It's a convenience for results without the process.
Now whilst a motif for 6,000 crowns is bad, and I agree that that is a ludicrous price for it, the motif is from an end game trial that takes effort to farm all pages. Again we are back to results without the process. I certainly wouldn't pay 6k crowns for a motif, nor would anyone I know. But some will for that instant gratification.

what is the point of complaining about crown prices of items if you do not have to buy them. It is purely voluntary. It is a choice and you can choose to not do so.
Creating a thread about it is even less pointless.

@Sigtric
LOL. nope, just goes to show some people do not understand business. They want to get paid, but hate having to pay. Entitlement kinda figures into this for those complaining about the crown store. LOL

There is no good faith anymore. No good faith from the company imparted to the consumers. No good faith from the consumers expressed to the company. Everyone wants what they want, and they want it NOW regardless of whatever else is going on.
The company wants people to buy their products, they want to cash in as much as possible with minimal continuous effort. The consumers want as much product as possible, as free as possible, with minimal effort on their part.
This isn't just isolated to the case of ZOS vs. its consumers, it is applicable to the entire consumer culture, and the entire greed model of business that seems to dominate lately.
Good faith is dead and it needs a revival. Not just in the video game industry but in all industries. Everywhere.

Honestly i don't think anyone has any issues with the cashgrabs at all. But is the game running smoothly? Do you DC in trials, VMA, PvP because they prefer not to update their servers? All the broken features in-game that never gets fixed instead they prioritize cashgrabs before those?
No one would really have much problem with a mount for 5k if the game was running excellent, not perfect, but excellent.
The game is running poorly and they want you to throw money at them? Very strange.
I love how everybody is defending ZoS greed. You already purchased the game to play it, that's supporting it enough.
Oh and please stop acting like ZoS is only doing this to keep the lights on. This isn't a Kickstarter funded game or company. Their parent company Zenimax Media Inc. whom created a small subsidiary consisting of around 300 employees called Zenimax Online Studios in 2007 solely to develop ESO and only ESO.
Zenimax Media Inc. is valued at 2.6 Billion USD. I love how the Dro-m'Artha is up in the crown store three days after they hotfixed the trial Lol.
just to provide a little enlightenment on the financial workings of matters concerning the real world... i give you exhibit A:
Money, get away
Get a good job with more pay and you're O.K.
Money, it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I'll buy me a football team
Money, get back
I'm all right Jack keep your hands off of my stack
Money, it's a hit
Don't give me that do goody good bullsh*t
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear jet
Money, it's a crime
Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today
But if you ask for a raise it's no surprise that they're
Giving none away, away, away
yes, this the sad fact about how money "works" in the real world...
