vMSA - 4 runs, 2 sharp

Not a post to gloat, more to give new guys hope, as all I heard were the 100's of runs it took to get BIS Weopons and it put me off even trying. I'm very glad I got Strormproof and I'm enjoying being back in there.

Run 1 Sharp Dagger & Charged Ice Destro
2 Decsisive bow
3 Charged Restro
4 Sharp Axe

I main a Mag Sorc so the 2 x BIS Stamina DW are pretty useless to me, so I am starting to understand the legions that want a weopon exchange system

but I've many more runs in me before I get bitter.

Very Lucky RNG I'm sure, but its still the Best solo challenge in the game guys, well worth beating it at least once.

Yeah, the exchange system would be useful. I got a Sharpened Inferno and a Sharpened Lightning within my first 8-10 clears on my Stam Sorc. In a shocking turn of events, I now main a Mag Sorc.

Haha, I see why, it can make you want to switch!!

Even if just the flawless guys could trade same trait weapons or something. Another reason to push to FC.

Like I say tho I won't get too mad till I'm.at least 50 in!

Hmm, on my 8/9th attempt and got a Sharp Bow, had defending Sword and Board too! Seems this place is taunting me haha.

Got my first inferno staff this weak in over an year and it was not sharpend. Also never see a other sharpend infernostaff.

It's not a gloat @Arthg, as I say I main a Sorc, so these aren't great for me, and if anything I want to encourage people back in who think RNG is so bad they don't go in at all.

My limited experience is drop rate is ok, just not for what you want lol.

I was pretty lucky as well. After max. 50 runs (probably less) I had every weapon in sharpened (except Ice staff) and in defending (the ones I need for PvP backbar at least). Funny thing, I have only gotten one resto drop, which was also the last weapon I was missing.

Well nothing is better than having BiS ready if you want to make a toon for them

in first 9 runs I got 2 sharp bows, while my main chars are mana

Congrats on your accomplishment.. but many would argue vMA to be best solo content worthy. I get less high blood pressure and enjoy soloing a certain vet dungeon or world bosses over vMA! I actually haven't ran it in over 6 months and really no attraction (for me) to dive back into it. I feel that many new sets are fine and can do without a Maelstrom weapon. However, kudos to you all knocking out numerous weekly runs!

11th run got a Sharp Restro. The arena is taunting me. Still not done enough runs to get mad about it. Still learning.

I guess the hate starts once you an smash flawless out over and over. I'm way off that. So still recommend anyone trying it who's nervous about the drop rate.
