The most important thing to take away from it is this: You CAN see what the player caps are for each house, but only AFTER you have BOUGHT IT! Yes, really. The player cap is NOT in the preview of the house anywhere. Only AFTER you have purchased it will you see an option to "Browse" and then you will see THIS:

That they would HIDE this information and not give it to you BEFORE purchasing just leaves me speechless.
Manors will be used as guild homes. Guilds have 500 players limit. Enough said.

Guilds should not be using player houses for Guild homes. That should be a guild hall. I would like a full blown DLC on guild halls that include special area in the guild where you farm enemies to acquire items to make/extend your guild hall.

If I'm not mistaken, the Nord medium and large homes are the same on the interior but the large just includes a stable, yard, etc. This could be partially why the medium and large homes have the same cap?
I don't want to deal with lag in my home, enough to have in Cyrodiil.
I think proper solution could be if you can buy for manors or large homes status "guild hall". If house have such status, limits should be increased and additional rights given to guild officers.
@NewBlacksmurf I think that would be pretty cool to implement if it were to be considered. Or at least a Guild Hall option.
Like if you bought he largest home, you can have the option to make it into a Guild Hall that accommodates more players and ownership can be transferred, say if the original buyer leaves the game for a time or something. Or else the guild will have no control over the home since it's a "home" and not a Guild Hall..

@Niko1987
I don't think anything from a personal home should be transferred or shared.
Its two completely different things
The Guild Hall is 100% for the guild only

@NewBlacksmurf My only concern is what will happen if you've established a guild in a large house and the sole owner goes MIA... No other guild officers can take over anything. What happens to the house then?Kinda SOL at that point, I guess...

I noticed some agreement along the lines that player housing should be different from Guild Halls
what are you thoughts on this? https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/316188/would-you-like-a-guild-hall-added-not-quite-a-house-tho#latest

Why is there even a limit? I think people might except some FPS drops if they have 50 people in there house. This really kills any chances of guild halls or big RP events. Is this a console limitation holding PC back?
If the reasons are more technical network reasons and it will be laggy and people getting kicked from the game, that's just pretty sad. I mean there was housing back in 2004 in EQ2 that could have tons of people in them with no issues except maybe some FPS drops.
