Installing (downloading) complete game takes absurd amount of time

Just like the title mentions...
I needed to make a new install since i upgraded my desktop and windows needed to be installed new,
i am more then 13 hours passed the time i started to install the game,
maybe look a good programmer that can do some repacking...
Oh i forgot,there are no "good" or even decent programmers at ZOS......
No but for real,this takes really an absurd amount of time to install this game i hardly even play anymore.
Most likely i need to reinstall windows in 2 months,
if no repacking is done then i am not installing it again,
it takes even longer then a full workday with overtime......

That's a fully voiced game and top rate graphics. You want to go back to computerized voices and brick graphics?1 -

✭✭✭✭✭This game is very heavy on the download. It might be worth ZOS looking at play x amount while downloading style of install like other MMO games have moved towards. This wouldn't help people with slow download speeds however.
Not everyone gets a choice of their speed. I pay the same as people who get 60mb, I get 12mb. This is entirely because I live in a small UK town, not because of my choice in internet.This sounds like your are trying to blame ZOS for your own choice of internet-speed...

Rawst✭✭✭I had to reinstall a few days ago as well, started downloading at 16:45 and finished at around 21:00. I was surprised how "fast" it was, my internet is also super-not-fast. Expected like 10+ hrs.Beasts in amber! Wake and remember!0 -
Soafee✭✭✭I agree. my speed is 108mb/s. it took me about 9 hours to completely install ESO. I downloaded wow (about 65 gigs) in 3 hours...Today is a blessing. Yesterday is in the past and tomorrow is a mystery.0 -

tat2mano✭✭✭✭This wasnt the first time i installed this (buggy and laggy) game,
own it for 2 years,
i have 100 mb/sec,i thaught to do it over night when i was asleep,started around midnight and it was done 14:00,
and its not even installed correctly...
Gonna send an email about this and if they dont get me a solution that gets this fixed i doubt i will ever install it again...
Already regretting trying to install it..0
