Mannimarco Costume Hide Helmet

This is something that has been bugging me for some time now, and IDK why it was changed to be like this. In the past, if you toggled hide helmet, it would hide the hidious crown which clips with half of the hairstyles. For some reason, this was changed, and even with hide helmet, the crown is there. It looks very ugly with my Dunmer's long hair as only the pointy bits stick out. I had to buy a hairstyle from the crown store that didn't clip, which I find to be wrong.

It also clips with every hat you put on, including the wizard hats, ruining your character's aesthetic. In general, it is atrocious.

The crown can still be a thing, it is just that it shouldn't clip with your hair and everything you wear.

When did they change it? I could have sworn toggling "hide helmet" hides the crown. Yet, I just checked again and now it stays no matter what.

I liked it better without the crown personally

I have no idea; it used to, but for some strange and unknown reason they decided "let there be clip". Maybe Uncle Sheo got a hold of the ZOSquarters.

I like the Mannimarco costume since it is one of the very few outfits with a knee-length mages robe look. It is indeed too bad you cannot hide the crown. Just as much, I wish you could hide those horrid metal clunkers attached to the shoulders. Lol.

It got changed shortly after costume dying. I want to say, initially, the costume was bugged, and couldn't be dyed, but when they fixed that, the crown became permanently fixed to it. I think that also happened at roughly the same time as the change so the diamonds on the side of the belt didn't float off when you ran.

I'll take magic floating diamonds over monstrous hair-clipping any day :P Most dyes look terrible on the costume anyways. Only the really grayish ones look ok, such as the dolmen blue.

Could we please get this fixed? I love this outfit, but hate the crown. It even clips through hat items. Want to wear it on my PS4 account but the crown just looks terrible.

I complained about this awhile ago when it was first changed. The costume used to look great on my argonian sorcerer but now the crown just floats on the argonian model and it looks rather stupid. Currently wearing the dark seducer instead. Costumes are big for me considering that great looted sets also happen to be hideous and I must hide them at all costs.

Please fix this! Why was it even changed in the first place?

Agree. Yesterday I decided to combine this costume with the wizard hat with hide helmet option enabled. Result? The crown pierced through the hat like a horn... This is the reason why I don't use mannimarco costume at all.

I actually noticed this last night when I logged on my sorc with it.

I was trying to preview hats with her and couldn't get the headgear part to go away.

I tried it on my Dark Elf mDK girl and the crown looks really bad. Well, she now wears the Dark Seducer costume. I noticed it really fits better, because now you can see the Pact Dragon tattoo on her breasts

I didn't even know there WAS a crown - I always leave hide helmet on - and haven't looked in some time!

This is impossible, as the crown isn't hidden by hide helmet. That is the whole point of this thread.

I like the crown on characters with short hair, but if ZOS is too lazy to make it work with at least the default hairs, then they should allow us to hide it, for sure.

They probably changed it when they took away my metal beard...that metallic glory was the only reason I wore this costume.

Just to check, did anyone actually bug report this in game?

I will do so tonight if I remember, but if this is a bug then we'll need to either have this in the bugs section of the forums or report it so someone is aware.

If it's a change which was intended then hopefully it feedback can be given as such.

Yes on my Argonian the crown got elongated and looked very stupid and I can't remove it, so I changed the costume. This needs to be fixed

Mannimarco's robe is awesome. Wish we could hide that circlet again, because those wizard hats pair nicely with his costume.

Yeah, the best I can do is mostly cover it up with the Dwemer Mage hat. The robe is perfect for my character, but the crown isn't!

Like I said in my Mad Hatter Memo - they should split -every- costume with a "head covering" part into costume without hat and hat without costume, let people mix and match as they please...

Got it a couple days ago, wanted to wear it on my Bosmer. While it looks amazing, the crown ruined it. and none of the hair styles didn't clip. Also floating off the head ruined it. Please fix this and allow hide helmet to work for it. The crown ruins one of the best outfits in the game.
