There are issues like that with a lot of gear parts, including weapons. There is less clipping now, but instead items hover on the character which is much more annoying to my eyes than clipping, especially with some shoulder parts, belts and also weapons, like dual wielding ones hovering left and right beside my hips in midair. Would be lovely to see a fix for these issues. I really don't use shoulders and belts with are hovering like that, which limits my choice of styles greatly.
Isn't it somehow tied to your character? I mean I have as skinny character as possible and all the shoulders float most of'em horribly even. Most of these pictures aren't even bad. I can often see my whole shoulders underneath armor.
Planning to beef up my character just because of this a bit now that I can.
At work so no. But you misunderstood I don't have shoulders going through pauldrons but rather I'm so skinny and short that pauldrons are so high above my shoulders that I can see my bare shoulders often just with regular gameplay.
I think it's somewhat tied to character build yeah, but I haven't really tested that. Do you have a picture of the shoulders going through your shoulders? I've never seen that.

I'm surprise to see that the player isn't on here complaining about it.

Why do I need armored hip flaps anyway? It is obvious Zeni is no good at doing this particular feature and can't do it right so why do they keep destroying virtually every single piece of light armor they put out?
I'm not sure what the answer is for shoulders.... but PLEASE just do away with the bizarre hip flaps entirely!
