Werewolf Race/Class selection

Hello all! I was looking to try to make a solid werewolf build within my group of friends/family as we start new characters together as we get into the game after a long long break. Looking for something that can be used for dungeons/pve and pvp and what class and race combos can help with keeping werewolf form sustained as much as possible and then getting it back quickly and little downtime!

Ive tried to look into it myself but alot of the information was back and forth and a lot of of pretty dated at this point. Also i wasn't sure if say a sorcerer bound armor type buffs stayed in effect if used before transformation or if these type of spells only work when not transformed! Open to any and all class and races as well. Any information that could help with a build that could work the best for this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

Also which set combinations work best for this as well without losing much damage as well, i would assume a medium armor would work best but id like to hear other peoples opinions on the matter as well! Thanks!

-Redguard will supply you with the highest amount of sustain and solid boost to stamina, and is recommended to all my werewolves
-Orc is ok but only if you go for a health regen build
-Argonian is a race niche, it can help you stay alive, Poison resistance + increased

Nightblade: Highest Regen
Templar: 6% increased weapon damage, lower ultimate cost, increased spell resistance
Sorcerer: lowest ultimate cost, built in execute chance
Dragon knight: increases spell resistance, decrease blocked damage, "second chance" werewolf activation

Meduim armor for pve
Heavy for pvp

Class Abilities slotted have no affect after transformation
Duration abilities cast before transformation stay active during werewolf, until duration expires, aka rally, evasion.
Weapon passive drop off
Armor passives stay active
Glyphs and sets are active including weapon glyphs or poisons slotted
You can't generate ultimate in werewolf form

Having a pact of four wolves will keep you in form

While I'm not certain about crit surge, I know you can ww transform with Hurricane up. It's getting nerfed so this is more of a flavor choice, but I think it's *** awesome. And stam sorc ults are lacking anyways. If you run salvation, that's a 53% lowered transformation cost, so you'll have it up a lot. Run that, maybe Velidreth, and a heavy armor set like black rose or seventh legion, and I think you'd do really really well in pvp.

If you begin a fight with crit surge and hurricane up you'd be literally impossible to kill

my thoughts though dont yet have gear to test.

7th legion + fury + bloodspawn.

or

7th legion + ravager + bloodspawn if ww cannot take the crit hits for full effect and survive.

Remember in pvp that you must invest in self healing in order to survive. It is a common misconception that in order have a successful werewolf you have to invest in all offense.

Successful routes:

Pelinal's Aptitude viper + monster

Pelinal's Aptitude + Fury + monster

Orgnum's Scales + Troll King + viper

I like eternal hunt and spawn of mephala on mine. So I can have stuns snares and immobilization on my build. But have to be a lot more careful.

Oh one last quick question, if you have a sorc pet and transform i assume they get desummoned? ty!

One of the best pvp WW on PC / EU uses: Salvation, Trollking and orgnums scales.
You can also try the build from Alcast but imo you need a healer to be effective with it

I recommend this one if you're building for Werewolf on a Nord or Orc DK or Sorc
