Easy Gold-Guide for Dummies (My version)

After recent screenshot of my inventory gold people asked for suggestions on how to make money in-game quick and fast. I currently sit on around 50 Million gold and over 300k Raw Mats in total. These are some of the stuff i do in-game to make gold quick and easy (some longterm)

DO NOT buy in-game gold for real life money. Instead become an in-game entrepreneur!

If you're looking to farm Scraps/Rubedite Ore. Don't bother farming during primetime hours such as Friday nights or Saturday day/night. If you can, farm EARLY mornings / midnight on weekdays to avoid other farmers. It takes about 1h to 1.5h to farm 1000 Rubedite Ore or Scraps. If you do the math and sacrifice 2h of your playtime to farm 2000 Rubedite or Scraps per day, you will have a monthly mats income of 60k mats / per month. Depending on your platform prices may vary. But for console the prices on Temp Alloy are currently very low comparing to a month ago. So right now it's better to sell raw mats. Currently on console 1 stack of Rubedite Ore goes for 18-22k/stack. So if you farmed 60k Rubedite Ore that month in total, let's do the math: 60k/200 =300 Rubedite Ore stacks total. 300 x 20k = 6 Million in-game gold in total. You can do the same thing with Scraps. Try to sell everything in bulk in Zone chat to avoid Trader fees + it's quite annoying splitting 300 stacks. Be nice, try to give at least 10% of your profit towards your guild.
Buy low, sell high! Always keep an eye on the market on anything. Buy as many Temp Alloy / Wax as you can when the market is low. DRAIN every trader on gold mats. When players cannot find Alloys anymore in traders they will become more in demand and prices go up. That's when you sell them. REPEAT.
If you spend a lot of time in PvP and just don't have the time to farm or PvE. Akavari Motifs are the best way to earn money off your Alliance Points. If you're a PvP addict like myself, you can easily get 1Mil AP/weekly. That's about 200k-240k profit weekly /1 Million a month from buying two 500k Akavari Motifs and then sell. Sell through Trader for these.
Take advantage of future events. Get your rewards quick and fast and sell FAST. Prices for fur hoods during New Life Festival went for 60-100k/per hat the first few days. Take advantage of it quick before prices drops.
For Homestead, stack up any material. Prices will most likely sky rocket when Homestead drops. Especially on console since we don't have access to PTS.
Be smart about your gold. Don't go spend it all just because you can. Be cheap. Only buy stuff you need. Been so many times i've bought gear such as Vicious Death jewelry and sharpened VD swords for millions but haven't ended using them at all. Be smart with your gold!
If you are a Master Alchemists you can make Weapon and Spell Power potions and make a decent profit out of it. It cost about 15k in materials to make one stack that you can easily sell for 20-30k/stack in Guild Traders.

These are my ways of earning gold, may not be the best. Maybe you have your own ways of earning in-game money quick and easy? Share them so we can add them to the list!

Also don't be that guy that buys everything and inflates prices. Is getting rich i game really worth being rude to your fellow players?

For me it's quick and some are longterm with a little time dedicated each day.
"Don't be that guy that buys everything and inflates prices". Welcome to reality! That's life though. What's the point with Guild Traders and having a market if prices don't go up and down? Or would you like to buy everything from a Merchant for a flat price?

Here are a couple more suggestions and feel free to add them to the guide.

Master Alchemists can make weapon and spell power potions for a pretty decent profit. I spent roughly 60k on the mats to make 800 weapon power pots and made around a 25-30k profit.

If you can make Psijic Ambrosia you can make about a 2-3k profit for every Perfect Roe you buy granted you don't overpay.

Boggles my mind as well. It's a node harvested every 11.9 seconds _continuously_ for 3600 seconds.

Good guide - but I would also love to know where and how it's possible to farm 1,000 Rubedite or scraps per hour. That's about 17 per minute - EVERY minute. I just don't see that number happening consistently hour after hour.

There are several places in game! Bethnik is of course one good example but lately it's been very crowded due to certain YouTubers advertising about it wayyy too much. I suggest to not farm during primetime. There are other places in both Craglorn and Stonefalls. And even on that snowy island off of Stonefalls (cannot come up with the name).

Not sure on PC. On PS4 it's selling! Takes about a day for an Akavari motif to sell in Guild Traders (must be top of the line trader). There's always people looking to buy motif pages. If you're putting these in Guild Traders put the price at 109k because after taxes and guild fees you'll get a flat 100k lol. OCD stuff lol

Prices fluctuate yes but you're actually telling people to purposefully inflate them. This isn't real life, the game money is meaningless so to make things harder for your fellow gamer is just plain *** imo. You ever stop and ask yourself why bother grinding for hours upon hours just to get rich? What will you do with all those millions besides buy up everything and sell it at a higher price to make more money off of poor players...what's the point?

That's your opinion, i respect that. As for what i'm going to do with the gold. Well first, i don't expect people to get up in the millions i have. Was wayyy too grindy lol. But i actually give back to the PS4 community around my birthday every year by giving away 3 Million gold in PvP. 1 Million each Alliance. 10k each person. Done it twice now and hopefully doing a larger giveaway this year because i have a lot more now to give away. Will make a thread about that later this year to promote and have more people attend

Thanks for the guide. But it's not easy

2 hours a day is 14 hours a week. It's almost a part time job, since you aren't having fun or playing the game, you're just grinding, but you aren't getting paid.

Still, at least some players now know how to make gold if they have that time.

I know exactly where to farm that many scraps per hour(I'm not telling...), but I think it's truly impossible for you to farm that much ore in an hour.....I just don't get it Big Dan!?!

Well, do one hour a day? Only for a month. Not that bad for 3 million in profit that month. Better than nothing

Or do 500k AP/week and earn atleast 100k/weekly. It's a start!

Not really, 1000 ore on certain spots in Tamriel takes 1h-1.5h depending on how crowded it is and the time of day and what day of the week.

During the New Life festival the fur hats really went for 60k-100k? I bought a fur hat and the towel for 500 gold during the festival.
