Comparing the closed beta with what we have now, this is now almost like a new game. I am also playing on PS4 today (being in 2 Reguvin guilds, thanks) and yes, the game is improving on the gameplay side.

However, I feel that the Player base is changing for the worse. Profanity and abusive language in some guild chats is regular, not an exception anymore. PvP is toxic. IMHO, the release of Imperial City with its TV stone ganking poisoned the game, rewarding worst imaginable playing styles and bad characters. This poision in combination with more and more rampant elitism makes many people feel uncomfortable. While the graphic beauty of the game is getting better and better, the playing experience has become more and more ugly.

ESO today is less of a Skyrim game, more a kind of GTA game. I still play ESO and like it, but it does not feel like the nice and welcoming place it once used to be. This goes hand in hand with less female players playing the game. In former days, I think about 30-40% of players were female. Today, I would think about only 10% are. I guess many female players do not tolerate ugly, posionous and unsocial behaviour.
