CP 142. Level 15 gear gives better damage?

Hey, when i was making my new item set, i noticed that level 1 gear has double or more tha set bonuses compared to my own level (CP 140) gear.

I decided to try level 1 gear instead and noticed i was much stronger in terms of damage, somewhat less survivability though.. Then i changed back to my own level gear and the damage dropped more than the half.

I was wearing 5 pice Gladiator set and 4 piece Ashen grip as a stamina NB.

There is something wrong here, why am i weaker with my own levels gear?

I wonder if that is a bug and should be looked into to resolve.

Also, was the level 1 set the same set you are using for your level or was it a different set?

Level scaling? The lower level you are, the more "help" you get from the game. Reach level 50, and that "help" drops fast.

Yes if you are on lower level. But if you are near 160, lvl 1 gear should give you near to no bonuses because they decerease with every Level you are above the equipment level. (thats why you should wear actual armor).

You know these stars in your character-window which indicates how good the bonuses are that you get with your equipment?
How much stars you have with the lvl1 and how much with c160 equip?

I'll check with my next new character. I do know the last one that hit level 50 [I have over 160cp points] immediately dropped stars because the gear was level 40. Or that might not work, because of the cp points. I don't know.
