Hi guys,

I wanna try out this build of Blob ("Penetrator magblade build") and I saw that he is using golden necropotence jewelry. Where does it drop in golden quality?

All of the necro jewelry from the dolmens that I got in Rivenspire was max purple quality.


Or the Cyrodiil gold vendor?

    Day 1 of 1T PC had Vendor selling Gold Necropotence

    Not available on console's yet. (Maybe ever with wtf she's been selling)

    It's possible to find some in guild vendors from when that set dropped in trials though it's going to be rare.

    Otherwise the vendor mentioned above.

    If you're lucky and VERY wealthy you might find someone who has unbound pieces from before One Tamriel, otherwise you're going to have to wait till they show up on the Cyrodiil vendor.

    Pay real close attention to the difference in stats between Purple and Gold and you will realize you don't need Gold Jewelry. Just use the Purple stuff.

    well, somehow I do not strive to be the strongest minmaxer in the game, but yes, I want to be strong :smiley:
    so gold ones would be nice, but I do not have enought APs, nor gold to buy them, so nevermind ;D, I stay with the purple ones :smiley:

    I did not realize Shadow Image counted as a pet!

    Now I'm curious - Do DK's or Templars have anything that count as a "pet"?

    good decision to use the purple vs gold, I posted the actual stats on one of my sorc, and the difference was so small that I wished I would have sold the gold one and just stayed with the purple. way more diff in your skills than the jewelry being purple vs gold. now armor and weapons are much better in gold vs purple.

    p.s. I have the actual numbers posted in a thread some place on here, but no clue which one it was and how to find it, but it's here somewhere

    This is often the case with body pieces as well. I've noticed that it's better off going with gold weapons (if possible), and purple body pieces in the long run. As it's cheaper, and the difference really isn't too dramatic. I personally aim for gold weapons and gold jewelry, with gold gold enchantments (if possible). I stopped trying to have everything gold a long time ago, and haven't regretted it since. All the while my damage output, and overall sustain hasn't been an issue.

    I think once you add it all up (excluding purp vs gold weapons) the difference in total is like that of a single glyph

    It´s 30 per ring, 34 for setbonus 1 to 3 and 100sth for setbonus 5.

    Only set summons. Dwemer spheres, daedra, and the like. It wouldn't be worth it.

    Probably getting purple jewelry in Reapers March Anchors is your best bet if you don't want to spend too much gold.
