I won't bother questioning your reading comprehension skills, as passive aggressive personal attacks don't help much.

A portion of the OP's complaint mentioned outrage over people getting the skin for completing vMoL with 0 effort. I was suggesting that defeating the twins is a similar feat of difficulty to defeating non-HM Rakkhat, and some would argue it is actually easier. My guild certainly took longer to defeat the twins than Rakkhat, and I assume the story is similar with most guilds.

I'm honestly a little surprised you didn't like my suggestion. If I found out that The Flawless Conquerer was glitched and could be earned on normal difficulty, then I would rather have my title revoked and go get it again then have the accomplishment tainted by "false bearers." And as one of the small subset of players that probably has vMoL HM on farm, I can't imagine it would take your guild very long to just unlock your titles/skin again.

Take the time to read what is said by the people that admire the skill and dedication you have as a player before jumping down their throats and calling them clueless. It's just common courtesy.

Who cares about titles? And no one should care here about anyone's hard work. What matters is this tread is still not closed by moderator. I ran vMA 500 times and never got my Sharpened Inferno, or any usable Inferno for that matter. ZOS/ESO decided to deny me fair competition, forcing me to compete with people that not only got more lucky than me, but also got their weapon quite easily before DB. It's based on an unfair system. Why would you care about people cheesing Rakkhat?

If I needed that achievement, be it hard mode or skin, I would've cheated as well, and I wouldn't feel bad about it whatsoever.

A game that doesn't provide fair competition in the first place doesn't deserve a decent moral code on the players' side. And if I needed to farm Rakkhat, I would farm it with the exploit. Not only because I consider it fair, but also because I know ZOS isn't banning anyone. Even using 3rd party software and actually hacking the game gets you a slap on the wrist - and that multiple times in a row. However, I am playing BDO nowadays and I would never exploit there because I respect the fair competition and itemization it provides.

Oh yeah, and I'm saying this as one of the first people who completed vMoL and vMoL HM (world 3rd). I don't care if every level 50 is running around with the vMoL title. The game is based on unfair end-game competition in the first place. So who cares?

100% agreed! I completed vMA "only" 300 times without a sharp inferno, but it's enough to say that if I was still playing ESO, I would be using every exploit and hack available. As long as competition isn't fair, in my opinion, all exploits and hacks are justified and titles mean nothing.

Please change the record. Most of the outrage over anything difficult is because those spewing the outrage suddenly get their air of superiority taken away from them. You're no different from the million and one others who all spew the "I earned it the hard way..." malarkey. You can no longer look down on others. The fact you're here broadcasting your 5 month vmol journey says more about your intentions than anything I can think up.

Besides your moral pseudo-superiority, what is your point exactly? Maybe we should add participation medals to the game so that everyone can feel they earned something. Then we can solve this issue immediately, as there is nothing difficult to earn in the game anymore anyways. Then again given your signature I'm sure you would be supporting that idea, so that kinda ruins my sarcastic joke I guess.

what I get from all this is that for me this game is about trying to switch off from my daily routine and just kick back a bit, whilst for others it is possibly taken more seriously than I do

for now, I will accept that what you say applies to some and that what I say applies to others... we can both be right and we can both be wrong, but as long as everyone is getting the type of enjoyment they are looking for from this then I will be happy with that

People dont understand whats wrong with using exploits? Really?
Some people should understand that even if they dont use it but justify using it, theyre essentially ruining the game for everyone. When exploiting is percieved as "who cares, its ok", next exploit might hit them.
Being scammed while trading (there's a bug that allows you to withdraw your part of the offer in the last second)? Oh, thats ok, because vMA rng sucks.
Being killed in pvp by an invincible guy? Oh, thats ok, lets not be elitist.
Right?

Exploiting is a direct violation of TOS, there just cant be 2 opinions.
