Those titles are REWARDS for many hours of hard work put into this trial. And those rewards are becoming now worthless becouse of the exploiters. And you ppl are shocked that ppl who earned it in normal way are angry?

good point...a lot of what this forum likes to call "scrubs and noobs" (which it appears is everybody in game apparently) exploited that and got all sorts of titles, skins, pets, etc.
so who cares...i would like to remind everyone that this is a game and should be played for fun and enjoyment...do not in anyway say you have "worked hard" to get anything from playing this
shrug it off, smile, be happy, and have some fun
Point 1. My team and me worked 5 months to get the first clear of VMOL hardmode, and we worked hard. Deal with it.
Point 2. People that exploit are scrubs and noobs.
Point 3. I would like to remind you that what is considered "Fun" is objective and your definition of that term is in no way superior to anyone else's. Hence your commanding "do not X" falls in the extraordinary bullsh!t category.

It's like running 30 miles and having someone take a car for that same 30 miles and claiming the achievement is exactly the same.

True, but on the other hand, you know you "did it", and the others know they "didn't". That's what matters or should matter, more than a silly title. Besides, if you really care that much about what others think, you can rest assured that you and your guys, or Hodor's guys, or Aquila's guys, or the Well-Fitted team don't need such a title to be known and recognized as top players and for us to know you "did it". We know who you are
How can you even compared twins to hardmode rakkhat, what game are you even playing.Drummerx04 wrote: »Wait this is insane, the outrage here over noobs getting this title/skin suggests that they don't even need to actually fight through the trash or previous bosses? After all if your group is good enough to kill the twins then it should be good enough to kill rakkhat, right (It's just a matter of practicing a little)?
If they can exploit all the way to the final boss AND exploit the final boss and basically light attack him to death with no healers, then I demand that ALL vMoL completion and vMoL HM completion achievements be revoked and the skins removed from every player's collection and Dromathra Destroyer titles revoked.
Any group/guild that has completed vMoL and/or HM can just do it again, and frankly I think most guilds would jump at the opportunity to prove that they worked for and deserve what they have.
Twins you just have to watch your feet.
please tell me i just got baited. I honestly can't even with this.

And at the same time there are many lesser known guilds running weeks tries who will eventually get it without beeing known

A portion of the OP's complaint mentioned outrage over people getting the skin for completing vMoL with 0 effort. I was suggesting that defeating the twins is a similar feat of difficulty to defeating non-HM Rakkhat, and some would argue it is actually easier. My guild certainly took longer to defeat the twins than Rakkhat, and I assume the story is similar with most guilds.
Asking for proof and an explanation is a way of differentiating between facts and hearsay. As already mentioned in this thread there are different ways of showing proof without exposing how the glitch works which would show that it exists (a screencap of someone with 200CP and a title with their name blanked out would be evidence). Additionally so far in this thread there's been one vague explanation and general discussion which leads me to believe that it's either purely on consoles and/or it only applies to sorcs and so would be pointless for the majority of us.
Most of this thread however has been ridiculously large amount of blindly directed rage and vitriol over something that's still unconfirmed to exist since everyone has only "heard from someone about someone that saw someone". When someone posts evidence of the glitch (see above) then we can collectively descend upon this issue like a swarm of ravenous wombats.
I can't believe there is so much angst over pixelated Texts and colors... ... .
People complaining about "fairness" here.
I ran vMA 500 times and never got my Sharpened Inferno, or any usable Inferno for that matter. ZOS/ESO decided to deny me fair competition, forcing me to compete with people that not only got more lucky than me, but also got their weapon quite easily before DB. It's based on an unfair system. Why would you care about people cheesing Rakkhat?
If I needed that achievement, be it hard mode or skin, I would've cheated as well, and I wouldn't feel bad about it whatsoever.
A game that doesn't provide fair competition in the first place doesn't deserve a decent moral code on the players' side. And if I needed to farm Rakkhat, I would farm it with the exploit. Not only because I consider it fair, but also because I know ZOS isn't banning anyone. Even using 3rd party software and actually hacking the game gets you a slap on the wrist - and that multiple times in a row. However, I am playing BDO nowadays and I would never exploit there because I respect the fair competition and itemization it provides.
Oh yeah, and I'm saying this as one of the first people who completed vMoL and vMoL HM (world 3rd). I don't care if every level 50 is running around with the vMoL title. The game is based on unfair end-game competition in the first place. So who cares?
Also, this is only my personal opinion and doesn't represent the opinion of the people in any of the guilds I'm in. However, I'm pretty sure everyone who hasn't gotten his desired vMA weapon in 1000+ runs will agree with me.

how sad...i thought at least you would have a modicum of intelligence and not resort to using the language of the gutter
well your use of the word "work" is extremely objective...it in no way compares to having a real world job where you actually help people with their lives, while at the same time raising a family and paying a mortgage
how odd that you would take offence to a suggestion that you actually try to be happy...
it is in your response that you show yourself to be inferior, hence affording me superiority that I did not claim to have in the first place
Like literally nobody at all in this entire thread was comparing an ingame achievement to raising a family or having a job. Like, literally, nobody. I guess football players can't call a win hard work then, they ain't working their job or raising a family, but just playing a game. What a dumb statement.

Please change the record. Most of the outrage over anything difficult is because those spewing the outrage suddenly get their air of superiority taken away from them. You're no different from the million and one others who all spew the "I earned it the hard way..." malarkey. You can no longer look down on others. The fact you're here broadcasting your 5 month vmol journey says more about your intentions than anything I can think up.
Besides your moral pseudo-superiority, what is your point exactly? Maybe we should add participation medals to the game so that everyone can feel they earned something. Then we can solve this issue immediately, as there is nothing difficult to earn in the game anymore anyways. Then again given your signature I'm sure you would be supporting that idea, so that kinda ruins my sarcastic joke I guess.
Unintended exploits that allow people to clear hard content without any effort should be taken care of.
I'm not the one getting my Daisy Dukes in a twist over some thread that is nothing but hearsay. You're the one basically calling others scrubs etc over nothing. Too many wannabe judges, juries and executioners in here. The internet at its best.
Reminds me of those lynching videos/pics you see on FB where you see some picture with text under it and because someone took the time out to create it, it must be true. The person in the picture must be an animal abuser, a bully, a war vet recieving no government aid, whilst all the migrants are and so on.
Except that there is no person in the picture here. If I say exploiters are scrubs, I mean exploiters are scrubs. Do you see anyone stating here "Person X is an exploiter" and am I saying "Person X is a scrub"? Hmm not really.
Did person X exploit? We don't know? What if he did? Then by my definition he is a scrub. What if he didn't? Then he is not.
But while we are at the topic of exaggerated comparisons, lets see how long it takes for the godwin to pop in here.
absolutely hysterical that you would use The Huffington Post as your source of justification...and showing clips of Holly Willoghby and Phil Schofield (that well known pair of intellectuals....LOL) will do nothing to support you further
just be careful of any injuries you may sustain when falling off your high horse, you need to get right back on your feet and wave your pitchfork
But I ride a Striped Senche.

Sorry mate, it's just becoming rather amusing when everything is prefaced with your vma inferno lament.
Reading how exploiters trying to justify themselves is so adorable, probably most adorable thing in this game. Deserve nothing but one big LOL.
@ZOS_GinaBruno
1. Fix it
2. Take away achievements and MoL-related rewards earned during time of exploit.
