Lol ok I get this is typical crap that most people dont wanna hear but im just so angry and I want to express it on the forums, I dont care what you are going to respond to that statement. Anyways im just so dang frustrated with pvp! I havent touched the game in a couple of weeks because of ALLL the typical NON sense that happens in that mad house. So I just hopped on today just for the heck of it ya know? And just to get this out of the way, I am not at all bad at the game; about 450cp Lieutenant Stam sorc, AD of course. So I was just strolling through the EP sewer side and I walked into the portal room by EP base. I saw a 500ish templar and instantly started pounding of him. At that point he was about dead BUT OF COURSE started spamming shields. I got stunned by shards and 25k soul assault... DEAD?! Hahah just like that! I was just amazed literally I was frozen. I then went back and this time I found a single magic sorc, 600cp ish. I SHOULD have known better not to even try because they are just shield spamming no skilled players... but I tried anyways. I timed in all perfect when he was fighting a Deadra. Shields were down and everything! So I heavy attacked, poison arrow, crit rush! then bamn! I got instantly knocked back my flame reach! literally was soon as i broke free a dang METEOR rained on me and I was combo ed with frags. DANG! im just so angry with how all this is happening. I mean of course theres tonnss of other things i can bring up from the past and I know people have some absolutely broken moments as well. Yeah I know im pretty pathetic writing this post so please dont comment anything negative about me. I mean go ahead I guess I will care less. Im just venting... lol. So yeah here I go uninstalling for the 100th time.....

Thing is, if unskilled players keep beating you, maybe you're even less skilled. Unless you're so incredibly skilled that you surpassed the upper threshold and created a calculation error sending your skill level into the negatives.

One option is more likely than the other.

No seriously, not just saying that to be mean, but if you were really as good at PVP as you think you are, you should either know how to take down a "no skilled" shield spamming player, or know that you are running a build that doesn't perform well against builds who stack shields. Proc sets and other small exceptions aside, the whole "I died to a player with no skill" thing is a bit ridiculous, because if that player was really so bad, you should either be able to beat them, or you have no skill yourself.

A lot of PVP right now is about burst, and if you're not able to deal with that burst, you're probably not as good as you think. Which is perfectly fine. What I would recommend is instead of just getting mad about people killing you, try to learn something from your deaths. For instance, perhaps against the Templar you could've tried to avoid the shard once you saw the telegraph, or you could practice CC breaking more quickly. You also could've tried to block or LOS the soul assault. If you took 25k damage from soul assault, you likely weren't blocking, couldn't get LOS, or took way too long to CC break from the shard. Against the sorc fight, perhaps you could've blocked before the meteor hit, since it has a very clear telegraph. You could also look at making adjustments to your build, either getting more physical/spell/crit resistance so you are able to reduce incoming damage, or increasing your own damage via crit, max stam, or weapon damage so you can kill that Templar before he can cast his shield, or burst down that sorc when his shields go down. And based on your description, these are only several of the many things you may have been able to do differently to improve your chances of winning those fights.

Those players must really have no skill to beat such a skilled person as yourself. It's like how the lowly paper beats the mighty rock.

Sarcasm aside, it is possible they had Miats PvP addon running and knew when you started to strike thus removing your ganking edge. Even then though, I assume they did have some level of skill especially if it stayed 1v1.

Why do think you deserve to win every battle and not die?
Why are you entitled to win against plauers eho clearly have more skill than you? You said it yourself, you even caught the sorc off guard fighting an NPC and still lost.
So again, why does anyone owe you their death jist because you attacked them?

No matter what build I make there is always at least one build that I'm weak against. Something that beats proc sets may not work well against a shield stacking sorc, something that is good at killing a sorc may have trouble with a Tremorscale stamplar, something that beats the stamplar may have trouble against the LA burning DK etc etc

First the Templar is a mad strong opponent 1v1 in the right hands, and Sorcs are no longer the same guys since our ward changes and proc meta. You'll find Tanky builds are the new meta. Also... things like Miat's add on and ganker hate have made players much more resilient even with no wards up.
