Dk stamina maelstrom arena

i need help to build this dk stamina, i am going to go medium armor 5 twice born 5 vicious serpent, i am not sure if it is better 5 twice 3 serpent and 2 monster set like verideth, any help?

Im not sure if twiceborn star will be best in slot next patch. Also minor slayer are the only reason 3 or 5 ophidian are good, ofc the stamina sustain are a nice bonus to have and a must in maelstrom arena, but for pure dps, there is better solutions. Dont look blindly on minor slayer when putting sets together. I would say focus first on penetration. 2 piece kragh are one of the strongest monster sets for melee stamina atm, and double sharpend daggers and you have a good start already. Now, you just have to fill in your armor slots, which can be whatever you want basically. I have personal tried every stamina set in the game, and the difference are not that big as long as you have decent amount of crit and penetration.

@OrphanHelgen Do you have any suggestions for how many points into physical penetration in Champion Points? I've been adjusting mine lately, and keep hearing that its pretty important, so I've got the Kragh helmet I need, one piece is good for now I think, but yes right now I have no points in that CP section, its all mostly in Mighty, Precise Strikes and Thaum.

what set do you suggest for now and after new patch?

I had a hard time when I ran all medium armor. I strapped on my Black Rose heavy set though and finally got my clear. I think at the time of my first clear I had 5 BR, 2 Kragh, 3 agi, 2 sharp leki daggers. I went 5/2 heavy/medium.
Think my front bar was breath, talon, blood craze, rapid strikes, vigor, dawnbreaker. Back bar was endless hail, rearming trap, poison injection, igneous shield for stam conversion, vigor, and SoM. Pots for crit and weapon damage buff on bosses.

I frequently get my dk stam on leaderboards with a 490-510k score which is pretty solid IMO.

I run 5 NMG and 5 VO with Veli - same on my nb, same on my sorc, same on my dk.

It works... I know we have major fracture but I never remember to light *** on fire... so meh I run nmg lol.

I got my first clear using 5 NMG, 2 veli, 3 VO, 2 endurance. The extra health really helps on your first couple times through.

Well, i completed my first VMA at CP300, but i have to tell you, it was the most difficult thing i have ever done up till last arena where i consistently failed, until i get 5VO. The stamina resource management problem just dissipated with that set.
The rest? Just use whatever you want, prefferably with armor penetration, and make sure to use Noxious breath all the time.

I use 5 viper, 5 vo, 2 velidreth and works well (540-550k) but the only real requirement is 5 vicious ophidian, the rest can be whattever stam set you like: hundings, nmg, tbs, red mountain, two-fanged snake, whatever... VMA is about know the spawn point and kill fast.

You definitely want 5 VO. That is the last thing I would drop. Problem with TBS is that you can't use it with your daggers as you will lose your second Mundas permanently when you swap to your bow bar. You want a 5 piece that allows you to weapon swap. The obvious answer is nightmothers. That way you can craft 2 sharp nighmothers daggers to make room for you favorite monster set. I think velidreth is best in there. First few clears, use you're attributes to get you to about 18.5K health. Then scale it back as you get more comfortable.
