Worst thing ZOS can possibly do ( and they did )

Not allowing stamplars to repent off engine guardian???!?

Who on earth made a complaint about that?!

And why would ZOS listen :(

Im disappointed. There is literally no reason to run a stamplar whatsoever.

Really? The only way your toon can compete is based on this one obtuse ability synergy? He must be a pretty lazy or weak stamplar, lol.

Seriously, though...I haven't run engine guardian on my stamplar in forever. Repentance gives such good recovery I only use dps monster helms.

That's the worst thing they can do? Hyperbole much?

They're hyper-simplifying everything down into a WoW-style, rigid holy trinity by removing anything that could constitute an imaginative concept build. They're making the game "casual friendly" by removing the element that casuals like most about MMOs like ESO -- inventing fun concept builds. It just shows how entirely out of touch Rich Lambert is. It shows that Rich Lambert doesn't have the first clue of what a casual player is or does. Rich believes that a casual player wants ESO to play like WoW because they desire the familiarity of MMOs they've already played. That's the opposite of what casuals want. No casual wants WoW.

There are lots and lots of planned nerfs coming in the next few patches toward this end, they're really doubling down on the transition from ESO to WoW. Good for them, I guess. I've already unsubscribed and uninstalled the game. As has my partner. And we were both heavy crown store spenders, it's a lot of money for them to lose. And not just that, but if you look at the Steam charts, ESO is experiencing a rapid population drop right now (from 13k down to 8k on a good day). I wonder why?

The more people know about this new WoW design approach (and I've been telling as many people in guilds as I can), the more people will lose interest. Lambert needs to understand that he and his team should be supporting concept builds if they truly wish to attract casual players. I think though that this is a bit of misdirection, a false flag. Rich wants a stronger PvP game -- I imagine personal preferences are at play, here -- and they're stripping away PvE fun to create that PvP holy trinity.

ESO is no longer a game I can enjoy. I suspect that as the next few patches arrive, more and more people will feel like that. Bad, bad changes have happened in excess ever since Lambert came into power, and that's not going to change.

They mentioned in the pts notes that they wanted all summons to disappear when dead to help performance.

Like how the torch bugs and deer went extinct in Cyrodiil.

There's probably 239 things worse than that. That's on the low side.
