Getting kicked from dungeons, need help

As many have suggested, it's always easiest to just go and explore the world and do quests to level up.

If you're like me and you get bored running quests, another way that is guaranteed is to go into Cyrodiil (Black Water Blade campaign) and just heal your local Zerg.

You'll get skill points for leveling up, and also for alliance achievements.

Pvp Zergers don't care how good or bad you are as long as you're another body on the pile to help out. Especially if you're throwing AOE heals down.

If you head into PVP you'll probably want to run heavy initially just so you can survive a little longer until you figure it all out.

Seducer and Magnus in heavy with a mix of impen and infused should do the trick.

I have loads of mats laying around btw so if you want a set and you're on PS4 NA, hit me up.

I had just leveled up a healer (up to 36). Even at 15-20 I wasn't being booted from II dungeons or DLC ones like Imperial City Prison. Course I never had issues keeping the group up (except for a single boss which warranted a skill replacement).

So I don't think level 12 is to blame. I mean when I see a level 12 healer I watch how it goes to the first boss. If they're struggling, I'll ascertain why that might be. If its ignorance (from a new player), I educate them. If its arrogance (likely from a CP player) I'll boot them.

I've truthfully never seen people want to boot someone even before the first pull. I play on PC-NA, is this a thing over the ocean or on console?

If you're not already part of a guild, then try joining one. Many guild members are helpful and are tolerance of low level players. Plus, many higher level players can solo normal dungeons and should not have an issue going through, even if with the two of you. As I can typically do such, I never gripe or have an issue when I get a level 10 or 15 going through a normal dungeon with me (when I feel like queuing into a group.) Even with vet dungeons, anyone lower than 300 CP would likely get kicked, in queuing/random group, by those that may be intolerable. I don't mind. I ran through quite a few vet dungeons with those under 300 CP and even in the 100s or double digits. To me, any level's contributions help, as long as all are contributing in the fight, (we may wipe a couple/few times or being respawned, but cool, we'll get through it.) If you're already in a guild, then ask the other guild members if any can go with you. There are plenty within a guild that would do that.

Your lvl is the problem I myself don't care about what lvl you are but with vet dungeons I rather have a 160+ cp just to make stuff go down quick but you a sorc I would go DPS instead of heal don't get me wrong sorcs can heal but templars are still OP healers

if you are completely new player with no CP I would not even attempt normal dungeons until you are at least level 30. You just do not have the skills and passives (or CP) to be very effective. Take some time and set up your character. Learn game mechanics. And, perhaps most importantly, get skill points and unlock passives. Passives are such a huge part of this game and yet they get over-looked most of the time.

I'm only level 12, with a mix of heavy/light. Breton sorcerer. I'm sure allot is wrong with my setup, as I'm extremely low level and new to game. Should I avoid the random dungeon finder and stick to doing specific for now so I can choose the lower ones ?

Skill set up for healing is as follows:

    Blood alter
    Rapid regen
    Steadfast ward
    Blessing of protection
    Healing springs

Like others have said it's your level, and that should not put people off if you are running normal Dungeons. Sorcs can heal fine in most content, I have healed all 4 man content with mine when necessary. If you really like the Healing role make a Altmer or Argonian Templar, you will NOT be disappointed.

My favorite role is healing and I love playing my Altmer Templar as DPS or Healer, it's a lot of fun.

To be quite honest, if you are a level 12 Templar healer I doubt you will get kicked from groups for your level.

As someone else said, have a crafter craft you some Seducer/Magnus and you will heal like a mad man. Level your crafting, trust me.

If you want to be a healer long term I recommend starting over and creating a Magic Templar.

Mag sorc can be used as DPS later but if your goal is healing, Templar is the class for you.

It's your level. I had the same issue when I was leveling up. I still do as I am not even cp160.

My suggestion just like the others is to join a friendly PVE Dungeon Running guild. I will recommend "Friendly Dungeon Runners". I've been with the guild for nearly 2 weeks now (the account is only 2 weeks old) and the guys in the guild are really nice and all these guys do is run dungeons and schedule Trials.

    Hit up @vamp.emily in game.

You know what I would do If I were you?

I would go play PvP and heal your tush off! That is what I would do. Before you know it, you will have grown into a awesome healer, with war horns :)

I'd like to be a healer someday of decent reputation, but every time I get into a random dungeon, I get kicked. It could be one person keeps dieing allot, or nobody even dies, yet I still get kicked.

Am I missing something ? You'd think as a healer they'd want me there. Anyways, I could use some help concerning this situation. Thanks.

Definitely the level 12 thing and also you are new - lots of people need to depend on a really good healer or the wither and die.

I have a level 22 Tank Alt I want to do some dungeons with to build up his Undaunted skill line but I'm sure I'll get kicked if I PUG.

If you are on PC NA and want to do some normal dungeons send me a message in-game (same username) and we can form a group, then invite 2 DPS to join us. Since you need 3 votes to kick, a kick will never happen in that group, lol. If a DPS leaves when he sees 2 low levels - big deal, DPS are a dime a dozen. Good DPS just make the run faster is all.

I tend to make all my builds durable and not reliant on a healer, so you don't need to worry about me "depending" on your heals to stay alive.

Or do the same thing with someone else if not me - form a group with a half way decent tank and promise not to kick each other. When a whingy glass cannon DPS joins and starts to cry that they keep dying tell them they can either Learn to Play or re-que for another hour and hope the next group is better, lmao.

Unfortunately... level 12 is to blame...

I don't have this type of mentality but 70% of the player base does...

Get to 40... ish and it will change it's a *** go... it truly is.

You can easily do dungeons at level 10, no matter if you have Cp or not everyones scaled to Cp 160

I'm not going to dignify that with a response.

I feel like I should make a Templar now lol. I hate being so indecisive....

That would be a good move if you're serious about being a healer.

You can heal normal dungeons with all the classes more or less but Templars just plain have a better tool-kit for doing it making it much easier for beginners to do well at it. Healing well with the other classes takes more effort, knowledge of the game and ingenuity.

And if you're serious about healing, ditch the heavy armor and just go 7/7 light at least until you have good reason to not do that - but that comes, much, much later in the game. Light armor will help you with magicka regen which will be your weak link as a low level healer.

I chose to use an argonian Templar. I hear allot of mixed reviews. Any opinions on that by chance ? Also on the light armor choice, basically for the magicka ? I always seem to go with whatever is the highest piece of armor and have a heck of a time deciding which armor type to use.

Why should I choose light armor over any of the others ? I was thinking some light some heavy. Also, the racial passive are really that bad? They seem to work well with a healing spec

Let them know you have healing springs and maybe it won't happen. Some people like to queue as a healer when they really aren't and you may be getting mistaken as one of those. All the normal dungeons can be run with healing springs alone.

Also your level is really low which is probably the main reason you are being kicked.

Light Armor gives you higher magicka regen all the time per piece used. Heavy gives you some but only when you're hit. As I said, I've never played as an Argonian so I don't know just how beneficial rapid mending is when you eventually unlock it. Altmer and Bretons both get better magicka regen and as I said, magicka regen will be your weak link as a healer at least until you get the good restoration staff passives and get the hang of weaving heavy resto staff attacks for magicka regen (and get the CP passives that make all your abilities cost less and increas your regen)

I've played as both Breton and Altmer Templar healers and they're both excellent. My current healer is a CP561 Breton Templar. I just have no idea how Argonians play especially at the higher levels.

I feel for ya dude, I sort of had the same sometimes as a sorc healer going into vets. CP is the main thing with pugs, some people are just *** or just want a quick run and kick low levels. We took a low level healer as far as we could in WGT vet and he/she did really good but it got to a point and they bowed out gracefully, said thanks for us teaching them and not being *** and we got a high level healer and finished. Didn't take too much of my precious time and made a new mate.
