I logged in today and for a moment I thought I had been robbed as my bank had suddenly got room for 171 items and my bag for 41. Then I realized that only materials are gone and looked into my crafting bag. All my materials were in there. I have never bought ESO+.
Although I don't think this was supposed to happen, I wanna say thank you
Please, dont take them away from the bag. I like the space improvement.

I bought the game via steam years ago, but haven't logged in through steam for a long time. I don't mind if they lock my bag again since I haven't paid for it. But I'd love to keep the mats that went inside it in the bag

✭✭✭It's my understanding, that as a subscriber, when you drop sub, whatever materials you had in the crafting bag remain in the bag until you remove them, but you can't add anymore to it. I've never dropped my sub longer than a week at one time I think it was, so I'm not sure on how it works.
Either they will pull your mats out of the bag and back in your inventory (or mail?) or you will get to keep the materials in the bag until you pull them out. But the ability to put more in should be disabled once they fix it. Just as if you'd had a sub and then dropped it. Which I think is what they will most likely end up doing.
BTW, if you ever do buy crowns, the price for the sub is the same as you pay for 1500 crowns. So you get the crowns plus the perks of the materials bag and some other small bonuses. It's worth looking into.Founder and Co-GM of The Psijic Order Guild (NA)

✭Another thing about the craft bag... if you have materials in your inventory and if your craft bag, crafting with these materials will take from your craft bag first, before your regular inventory.The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. I do buy crowns. I have considered subscribing to ESO+ a couple of times too but I find my life easier to manage when I don't have pre-paid game time running.

I hear ya. But the way I look at it is, since I'm getting crowns, I'm getting my money's worth whether I get to play a lot or not. I still get 1500 crowns every month that continue to bank until I get back in game and spend them.Founder and Co-GM of The Psijic Order Guild (NA)
