Still subbed, still playing. Mostly end game PvE content.

I was in late closed beta, still here, but game hasnt rly improved overall, sure there are things that are better, but pvp...is not.

Yeah I was looking it up as well out of curiosity. Ahh the memories and the excitement, then the rude awakening, the hardships and now, 3 years in, things are FINALLY starting to move forward. Kind of makes me think that current state of the game is what a post-beta should be, not 3 years into the game.
I bet we've really been playing beta all this time and the "beta" was actually an alpha. It certainly feels like it.

I understand the ups and downs and the rough times, but having been in alphas and betas for numerous games, honestly ESO during beta was miles more polished than some things I've seen after going gold, and I've also seen some really, really, bad alphas that probably had no business being exposed to the public in anyway at that time.


There's some ESO things that have happened, and decisions made that have really pissed me off, but overall, at the end of the day; this game has gotten treated unfairly and it continues to happen, for whatever reason. It's a lot better than many people give it credit for.

For instance, I experienced the same things (broken quests, server instability, etc) a certain Angry Idiot (name changed for policy reasons) on youtube did, and it being his gimmick, he blew it all out of proportion and the lemmings followed, thus turning it into "fact" for many people - when truly, the game was playable, enjoyable, and many people not only lived through it, but they enjoyed the game and thrived.


You might be frustrated, and you probably have valid reasons to be so (I've been there and was gone almost a year when the frustration and burn out hit at once) but you and I are both here now, for a reason. Frustrations aside, we know it's a good game, we enjoy it, and we think it'll continue to be. Otherwise I, and I bet you as well, really wouldn't be here.

My forum start date is November 2013 and I was in closed beta before that I thought. I'd have to dig up an old calendar and see if I wrote it down.

I'm back for a little while. I have enough PVE content backlogged to last me a few months. I'll be around for at least 3 or 4. Maybe longer.

Raises hand. Played beta and launch but took a break. Came back little more than a year ago and am really enjoying myself.

I played since the beta.

I was VR10 within 3 weeks of the game launch.

Haven't really played since Craglorn came out because it was terrible, transferred to Xbox too.

Played on and off. Never really got back into it.

Just tried playing One Tamriel, and subscribed for ESO plus!

Boys. I am hooked again!

One Tamriel is a great change for the game. The only people i see disagree are the ones who have kept playing, have about 7 alts, and near unlimited resources. For people that disagree, they gave up on the game for a reason and One Tamriel has fixed some of those.

Onwards and upwards for ESO!
